Jeoju awakes from her deep sleep, tossing her cape aside. She sits up, feeling the wet fabric stick to the flesh of her back.
Groaning in discomfort, she gets up to hang her cape, placing it on the silver border of her secret tunnel.
Not without your consent, my dear.
Jeoju's fingers reach to touch her lips, remembering Heeseung's lips molding perfectly into hers.
She could still feel his warm lips on hers, caressing and holding them between his before biting hers softly, remembering the hightened kiss.
I was a queen in my past life? And those vampires were my protectors?? They all seemed to know right away who I was; but I still don't understand how they know about Chris... maybe Jake didn't tell me the entire truth.
Leaving some of her belongings in the room, Jeoju leaves to her actual room in the House, proper bed, dresser, and private space.
She opens the door, thankful to see it still in the way she left it; the floor tidy and clear, her dresser organized, her bed...full?
Jeoju notices her bed somewhat occupied with a figure. Careful, she quickly tears the sheets off only to find pillows.
She sighs, putting the pillows where they belong, fluffing them before adjusting her blanket. Jeoju turns around to bump into something stiff.
"Cool trick, huh?"
"How'd you know where my space was? Good God, Jay, you frightened me! I don't know what I would've done if it wasn't you!"
"You don't even know what you're doing right now, even if it's just me!"
"My point exactly, it's best if no one is in here besides me!"
"My deepest apologies, Your Highness," Jay responds sarcastically, looking at the space around him.
"So this is your room, huh. Dainty."
"Jay?"
He turns to look at Jeoju, sitting on her bed and leaning against the wall, watching as the sunlight hits Jay's features.
"Heeseung showed me my past life."
His face doesn't show a reaction, but instead, kneels in front of the bed; Jeoju moves to get closer to him, sitting on the edge in front of him.
"It's true. You were and still are our queen. And yes, Heeseung was your lover."
Jeoju blushes a bit, thinking back to their kiss.
"How'd you see it?"
Jeoju looks down at her hands, avoiding eye contact, trying to avoid the question.
"Jeoju."
"Hmm."
"I'm asking how he showed you."
"Well, you know....he might've initiated.."
Jay stands tall, watching Jeoju's movements, curious about her answer.
"...wemight'vesharedakiss...."
Jay blinks a few times trying to process what was murmered below him but fails to understand.
"Eh?"
"This is stupid. How he showed me isn't important, I asked my question, and I got my answer."
"I asked my question, and I didn't get my answer."
Jeoju pouts, looking around the room, battling the thoughts in her head on whether or not she should tell him.
Heeseung was my lover in the past, which most likely means he'd be my lover now if we kissed, right? Therefore, there's no reason for me not to tell Jay.
"Heeseung kissed me," Jeoju blurts out. Jay smirks, rubbing the back of his neck.
"And I kissed him back. There's your answer."
Jeoju continues to stand in front of Jay, waiting for something stupid to happen, like him leaving the room out of anger or something.
"I'm glad I have my answer. But I have another question."
Jeoju stays quiet, waiting for him to continue on.
"Did Heeseung mention that all of us were your past lovers?"
