"Run that by me one more time."

Jay's lips spread into the biggest smile that could come across his face. Jeoju's smiling, too, but for a different reason.

"I said Heeseung told you all of us were your lovers, right?"

The hell I am. Just play along with him, it's what you get for invading my space.

Jeoju snakes her arms up Jay's broad chest, immediately taking him by surprise. Her hands, reaching for his neck, her fingers tracing the bottom of his jaw; toying with him.

"Of course. Heeseung also told me that Jake was a better lover than you ever were."

She watches as the look on his face contorts into something flustered, unsure if she was just messing with him or not. Jeoju leans in, her lips next to his ear, whispering.

"He said you lacked stamina."

She feels him back away immediately, raising his voice as he paces back and forth through the small space.

"Heeseung, you son of a bit--"

"Now we're even. Think twice before you invade a queens throne."

"Oh, you're playing a dangerous game there, Jeoju. You shouldn't do that to a man. Or a vampire, for that matter."

"Why? Are you going to hold me down and drink upon my flesh and blood?"

"Don't give me ideas," Jay threatens, secretly excited at the thought.

"Keep it in your pants, my good sir. And stay out of my space, please."

Jeoju leaves him behind, slamming the door behind her. She walks, making her way down to the practice room, ready to dance the night away.

She sees a slender figure against the wall next to the entrance; playing with a dagger between his index fingers, admiring the fracture of light it makes on the wall in front of him.

"Niki."

The figure stands tall, the dagger is still in hand.

"Right on time."

"I'm sorry?"

"You're here for rehearsal, no?"

"Yes, but why are you here?"

"I'm the one that choreographed the song."

Jeoju's eyes widened in shock, unaware of how involved her once knights-in-shining-armor are throughout her present life.

"I'll have you know, I've choreographed every single performance here at the House."

"It was all done by the works of you?"

"Is there a problem with that, princess? Don't let your new identity get to your head, or you'll get what's coming to ya."

Jeoju takes a deep breath, choosing her words carefully mentally before speaking.

"Word sure does travel fast, don't it. I apologize, I didn't know there'd be more information being thrown my way."

"Oh, Jeoju, you're in for a treat."

"Why?"

"Because I'm your practice partner for rehearsal today. And keep my identity a secret. No one in that room knows I choreographed everything besides Taemin."

Niki points his shiny dagger towards the dancers through the door, maintaining eye contact with Jeoju.

"Ok, so, what do you want me to do?"

"I want you to just do the routine, act like you don't know who I am, and just do a good job."

Jeoju nods, taking a few deep breaths before Niki opens the door, a long dark shadow overtaking the room on his way in.

"Jeoju, you're right on time! I see you've brought along your partner. We'll go over the steps for the partner dance and do a run-through."

Jeoju sneaks a glance at Niki, who throws a slight nod to Taemin, some sort of code she's unable to decipher.
