Friday came around and Killua cursed himself for acting like a bundle of nerves. He was acting like some lovesick Schoolgirl on her first date which was ironic since Killua hadn't ever been to school or ever had a date. Sure he was heading over to his first ever friend's house for a sleepover but meeting his friends was what unnerved him. He had barely socialised with anyone so... casual and the only times he did interact with a large body of crowds was at business transition banquets where only the snobbish and rich resided. Even then Killua only placed a false persona to become a people pleaser, he never really knew how to be himself if anything he was always discouraged against it in case he accidentally brought shame upon the Zoldyck name so alcohol was definitely forbidden for him unless it was to compliment his food in small doses. That didn't go to say that Killua was inexperienced. He's had his fair share in a variety of those delicacies and the best kind at that but only in the privacy of his own home.

Here with Gon's friends it was different. They were everyday people who didn't care about his background and it really did alarm Killua on how little of their lifestyle he was aware of. He certainly couldn't act the part they'd want if he didn't know much about them but he did want to create a civil first impression.

Gon had texted him the address earlier that day as well as a reasonable collection of memes and GIFs, much to Killua's delight, each one being much more amusing than the last and now Killua was pulling up at the driveway of what he presumed to be Gon's humble abode. It was considerably small. The neighbourhood had the houses situated close together and there was no particular grand gate or extravagant waterfall in front of the house. The porch wasn't spacious but at least he had a lawn with a nice variety of colourful flowers. He could tell it was indeed Gon's house due to the squawking spiky haired greenette standing in the garden staring at his vehicle.

Once Killua mounted down from the SUV Gon threw himself towards Killua, his eyes bright and gleeful as always. "Your car is so huge! It looks really expensive too. Is it electric?"

"Genesis Hyundai GV90," Killua replied nonchalantly before looking around and studying the garden more in depth.

"I knew you were rich but this is so cool!"

Gon's enthusiasm seemed to be contagious because within a few seconds Killua noticed a new presence on the porch. The first person he saw he recognised immediately as the blonde student that Gon was freely chatting to in front of his college and the second was shorter than them if not younger with bushy brown eyebrows.

"Is that my dream car!?" the younger boy's eyes blew wide and surged forward to marvel at the design. "How'd you afford it?-" he stopped mid question as his eyes landed on Killua and he gaped.

Everything about Killua screamed rich despite him wearing what he thought to be the simplest of clothing. A black turtleneck paired with blue denim jeans and an amorous silver watch tight on his left wrist.

Killua held out his hand for a shake and started "Nice to meet you. I'm-" He blinked as the short brunette backed away to hide behind Gon before screeching.

"No way you were able to land such a hot guy, Gon! What, did you find yourself a sugar daddy or something!?"

"EHHHHHH!?" Gon yelped as his face flushed. Killua wasn't any different as he awkwardly stood there, his whole face blown red with blush. It didn't help that he had such a light complexion either.

"So you must be Killua," The blonde walked forward and nodded respectively as a greeting. He looked older and more mature than the other boy so Killua simply smiled and nodded.

"It's a pleasure to meet you er..."

"Kurapika. And drop the formalities, If anything it's admirable."
