Diary entry 21

Hello again :]

So, after reading some feedback from my last entry, I've decide that I'm going to start writing a thriller book. 

I think this would be a lot of fun for me, which is why I decided on this.

I also will be having a mini book coming out soon that is a complete surprise so be ready for that.

So, since we've picked a genre, now, we have to do some critical thinking. (which is very hard for me)

I need help brainstorming what this book should be about, character ideas, plot ideas, things like that.

(This is why I'm glad I have this book, bc i can come on here and talk about my other books lol.)

So, here are some ideas for a story line. (ty pinterest)

Number uno: The story starts off with a hero, doing as they always do, but then, they encounter something, which makes them slowly start to go insane, and at the end, they end up being the villain in their own story.

This one isn't bad, and wouldn't be too hard to write, but lmk what you think.

Number two: The main character of the story is just an average boy/girl, they have nice parents. They always get comments on how hey don't really look like their parents. They eventually find out they were kidnapped as a child, and do their best to try and escape their "parents"

This one is okay. That's about it. It seems like it would b cool to write, I just don't know if I like it that much, but, it's an option!

Number 3: A story set in a dystopian society. (kinda inspired by the hunger games) The main character and a few of their close friends are trying to flee their city that has been taken over by a bad person. The city is in ruins. They are looking for the missing piece in the prophecy to stop the president before it's too late. When they finally find the missing piece, their life gets harder as they didn't think the missing piece would be a child.

This one isn't bad. I think it could go many ways depending on how i write it, but it's one of the better options.

Number 4: (inspired by Escape room & Would you rather - the movies) A group of friends meet up and decide they want to go to this escape room. They think it's all fun and games, getting through the first few rooms easily, but then they start to realize - this isn't a game anymore. They get picked off one by one, until two remain. Who will live?

I kinda like the idea of this one.

Plus, I was thinking I could write it from different perspectives as well.  It's not a bad option, I'm just kinda trying to think if I would want to write a full story on it.

Number 5 (last one): The main character lives a normal life, until one day, they get into a bad accident. When they wake up in the hospital, they go on with their life, and try to live as normally as possible, even though something feels strange. Eventually, they figure it out, and have to fight to get back to normal.

I like this one more than a few of the others because I think it would be interesting. I've read some books with a plot kinda like this, so, I think I could try it.

That's all for plot ideas, so now, all I need y'all to do it lmk which one you like best. My opinion on each is underneath them, so lmk your thoughts. Once we get a plot down, we'll start making characters.

Also, if ur wondering why I'm talking about a new book in here, it's bc I want you guys to come along with me in the process of making this book. I want you, the reader, to be there to help me, and be there for the whole writing process. You'll also get little sneak peeks of chapters before they're published. I want my readers to get basically v.i.p access! 

Also, that mini book I talked about in the beginning? I may or may not be working on it right now. It may or may not be an arg, and I may or may not publish the first chapter... heheh
