6. Inhuman creatures

Time is passing faster than it ever has before. It's something they regret and are surprised by in equal parts. It makes you notice how calm and fun they were having. Not worrying about anything but what colors they would wear, how they would paint their hair, what color their nails would be, what they would say in their songs.

Suddenly, it's the second to last day before leaving this shelter, every second more appropriate to be called a sanctuary. Jin considers that the effect fell even on Namjoon, whom he hadn't held in his hands as cuddly as a cat in years at this point. He loves him that way.

To the point where he wishes this pause, this respite, would not end.

It will, however, after they enjoy their concert illusion. On one of the many days, Jin took a field trip and brought back mountains of plush dolls. So they could make a fake audience in the room they already set up to use. The day before, everyone was busy painting and cutting their hair.

The biggest tragedy for Jungkook, who ended up with a little less than he wanted, but nothing really dramatic. Most striking are those who chose fantasy colors.

Seonghwa looks bubblegum pink, making him look more charming with the clothes: a white blouse with long sleeves and a black corset like pants. Even her eyelashes look pale. Hongjoong on his part enters smiling and excited. His hair painted king blue, navy blue beret like his shirt and a beige skort.

He assumes it was Seonghwa who brought him, because he is the only one who knows this taste he has.

Mingi is like a huge yellow dot that no one can ignore. The garish yellow and red tips is something that just the way it looks, it's straight out of a manga.

Yoongi wears what looks like a modernized habok. Black, gold patterns. Hair painted gray and with some braids done by Jungkook. Taehyung left her hair black, matching her clothes. The most charming part of her whole style is the little smiley face on her cheekbone and the black veins she drew on her neck and shoulder.

Hoseok also decided to leave her hair black and her outfit is similar to the one Dior designed for them at the time. The most relevant are the painted nails and the black shadow around her eyes. Jin with light brown hair, yellow and beige sweater; the pronounced and fluffy curls.

Taehyung hugs Jungkook as soon as he sees him, pleased with the result of his search for clothes. Jungkook looks like a Victorian vampire with the shirt open at the chest and ruffled sleeves.

"Looks like we're all in," says Namjoon complacently.

His shoulder-length hair is a bit of a mess. Platinum blonde with lots of lilac highlights. They couldn't paint it right and yet, it looks phenonmenal. He wears a long tunic tied at the waist. It almost looks like a dress or a tunic. Behind him, Jimin dabs his lips, making sure the gloss has dried.

His thing is Peculiar? They didn't think he'd want to wear something like that. It exposes him so much that it's counterproductive. However, he wanted to wear it. All black clothing with a slit so big in his back, it exposes the tattoos he has there. Black sleeves separate from the tank top. His long, heeled boots give him more size than usual.

What's cute, though, is how he smiles excitedly at having liked himself. After so long of despising his image and even having bad sleep, thinking he wouldn't like the result, he was fascinated to see himself in the mirror.

He felt beautiful after a long time of not being beautiful.

As if suddenly and for a few hours, he can be the same as he was before, when he had finally managed to appreciate himself as he was.

Namjoon sits on one of the sofas. It's a little creepy to see the pile of plush dolls around him. It satisfies him how happy they all look, how they talk about their clothes, what they chose and how it makes them feel. He gives a round of applause and says:
