Thursday night with the Byers

Anthony is 4, Willow is 8 months old, Jonathan is a photojournalist because I said so and Nancy is a journalist.

Jonathan placed Willow in her highchair and they all sat down as Nancy brought out their plates. "So Jon did you have a good day at work?" She said feeding will a bite. "It was good, what about you hun? Hey try this bud.." he said starting a side conversation and was holding a fork out to Anthony who took the portion of food off the fork and took it in his mouth.

"It was fine, nothin out of the blue." He nodded. "That's good." He threw the leftovers on his plate away and then set his plate in the sink, washing it, then making his way over to the table to stand above the 4 year old. "So," he picked up the little boy, who was now giggling, and put him on his shoulders, "Whats up? How was preschool?" He grabbed the kids, who was still on his shoulders, plate and walked over to the sink to wash the plate off and put it in the sink.

"Guess what daddy!" He was playing with his dad's hair, "what?" He moved both the kids legs to one side of Jonathans head and he then slid the kid down him. "Today we did finger painting." "Really? Do you have it on you?" He nodded looking up at his dad, "ooo can I see?" The little one then left the kitchen running.

"Hi princess." He kissed the babies forehead and removed the tray from her highchair to un-buckle her and remove her from it. He held her in his arms then went to the kitchen with his wife who was now loading the dishwasher. He stood next to her at the sink and she looked at him, "hi." She scooted in closer to him, "Hey." He kissed her quickly before he felt a tap at his leg.

"Oh yes your finger painting. Let me see it." He handed his father the painting, "Oh this is really God son," he studied it, "here let me set her down real quick," he walked over to the living room to set the baby down. "Gimme a hug bud." He tried jumping up to him, "daddy I can't reach." "Oh no you can't reach," he picked him up and threw him up in the air, "whatever could we do with that." The little boy was giggling from getting tossed in the air. "Daddy!" He set him down on the couch.

"Can your reach now?" He jumped up to him. "I can!"

Nancy walked into the room and picked up the baby. "Hi sweetie."  She walked over to her fiance and 4 year old son, she then tickled the boys side which caused him to bury himself into his father while laughing. "Okay, okay, now it's bath time." This caused him to lift his head up to face his mother, "But mommyy." He put his head on his dad's shoulder, "Anthony James..." "okay mommy."

Jonathan gave his fiance a quick kiss before taking his son upstairs into the bathroom and set him down to brush his teeth, when done he walked out and into his room to grab a towel and a Washcloth. He then walked into a bathroom. "Okay go pick a toy to bring in with you." He nodded and ran out of the bathroom and searched his toys before picking out a boat that had been Jonathans when he was younger.

He ran back into the bathroom, and Jonathan had already started the water making sure it was too cool but it wasn't to warm. He turned to see the toy his son had picked out, "You want that one?" And he nods. He helped him undress and get into the bath. "Want bubbles?" And he nodded once again, so he poured the bubbles in.

After he finished he stood up as the water drained. Jonathan unfolded the towel and wrapped it around the standing kid. He took him into their room where his clothes were. He lathered his body with night time Lotion and then slid his clothes on as Nancy entered the room to get the baby dressed who had been bathed in their bath.

"Hi mommy." He said laying down in the bed. "Hi hun." She responded putting on Willows diaper after putting the Lotion on her as well. "Hey can you watch him for a minute I'm going to make her a bottle and him chocolate milk." She nodded and kissed him before he made is way out the door.

She finished clothing the baby and then got cuddled up in bed with her two kids.

He made his way into the kitchen, grabbing a sippy cup and a bottle out of the cabinet. Setting them on the counter and unscrewing the lids he then grabbed the formula and filled the bottle with water. Then putting a few scoops of formula, screwing back the lid and shaking it up.

He then worked on the sippy cup eventually taking the two upstairs into their room. "Okay we've got one bottle and one chocolate milk." He handed them to then jumped on the bed laying with his family.

"Okay it's time for bed kid." They all got up from the bed and Nancy held Willow as they all walked over to Anthony and Willows room.

She laid Willow in her crib and she kissed her Forehead. "Night baby." Then Jonathan held out his finger and rubbed her tummy in which she grabbed his finger and started chewing on it while kicking her legs. He smiled looking down thinking of how far he's come now having a family of his own.

He bent down and kissed the tip of her nose, and she giggled from her crib. He then took his hand and looked down at the boy who was trying to look over at the crib. So he picked him up. "Night willie." So Nancy turned on her mobile and and the music machine. Then they walked over to Anthony's side of the room.

A.J got in bed and laid down, Nancy pulled the blanket over him and kissed him on his forehead. "What story do you want tonight?" He said over at the Bookshelf. "Little bear! little bear!" He said clutching the Stuffed animal in his hands. "Okay little bear it is." He said laughing a little.

He grabbed the book, 'can't you sleep little bear ' off the shelf and walked over to his fiance and kid to sit next to aj in his bed.

He read the book and by the end of it Anthony was passed out next to Jon. So he got up and gently grasped Nancy's wrist and they walked out of there shutting off the light and leaving the door cracked on their way out.

They made their way to their room and couldn't get over the fact that they couldn't be more happier than right now living the best life they could have ever dreamed of.
