2 hours later (Giyus POV)
I woke up about 5 minutes ago, Sanemi and Obanai are cuddled up on the bed and I'm just watching tv
Its dark outside, but it's not as cold as I thought it would be. I sat up from the sofa and made my way out to the backyard sitting by a huge oak tree next to my koi fish pond.
I stared into the pond watching the fishes swim gracefully past every rock or leave in there. My vision became slightly blurry and my eyes closed as I drifted off to sleep
?? "Its peaceful at night time isn't it?"
I jumped up in fright and looked around to see where it came from, untill I looked up.
There was a distorted shadow sitting in the branches above, frightened I stepped back attempting to grab my sword that wasn't their. I didn't think there would be demons so I didn't bring my sword with me.
Giyu "Back off demon!" ?? "Oh, I won't hurt you! Don't be scared human!"
Scared? He thinks I'm.. scared? I could beat him with my bare hands if he got to close! He's not an upper rank but he's not weak.
Giyu "Come down, show yourself!"
My vision became clearer as I made up the face of a young boy, his face was white and he had red patterns on his face.
Giyu "Who are you and what do U want?" Rui "I'm Rui, I'm not looking for any danger, I was just strolling around when I saw you. U look lonely, can I keep U company?" Giyu "why would I want company from a demon?" Rui "dunno, just an offer though. I can leave" Giyu "no! Stay.." Rui "oh?"
As much as I hate to admit it, I enjoy company. Even though I don't act like it, it's comforting to know someone wants to sit with me.
Giyu "if U try anything funny I'll have U know I can rip U to shreds with my bare hands (sanemi taught him how to act tough🥺)" Rui "I wasn't planning on anything but I'll keep that in mind"
