"What is this?" Terano asked as she tried to keep her cool.

A pair of toddlers sat on her lap. One kept biting the blue blanket they were sitting on, while the other looked like she was on the verge of tears.

"Why, I believe I've already explained it to you, dear cousin," Kirari said, smiling innocently. "You will be taking care of these two for a week."

"Wha...I don't want to! One look at them and you can tell they're trouble! You have no authority to make decisions like this and impose on us!"

"Oh?" Kirari said as her eyes glowed dangerously. She strode forward, grabbing Terano's chin roughly and leaning in, speaking directly into her ear. "You all have been undermining my authority, even during the election. Perhaps it's because I seem to be quite relaxed? I am your Supreme Leader, you underling. I suggest you give me your utmost respect before i take away from you everything you hold dear. Don't you dare forget your place. Sayaka is my wife, and therefore, also the Supreme Leader, so I expect that you take great care of her. Is that understood?"

Terano cowered under Kirari's glare, shuddering slightly. Just as she was about to reply, a small noise interrupted her.

Sayaka had her small hands wrapped around Kirari's free hand. The toddler admired the Clan Head's glossy nail polish, inspecting every inch of it.

Kirari pulled away from Terano and lifted Sayaka into her arms instead, making her wife giggle.

"Mhm, you like my nail polish?" Kirari mused. "When I get back, I'll help you paint your nails too, how about that?" She kissed Sayaka's cheek, smiling as Sayaka squealed.

Yumi watched as Sayaka laid her head on Kirari's shoulder comfortably, an idea coming to her head.

"Hey, at least if we paste pictures of Kirari on us, Sayaka won't act up!" Yumi exclaimed.

"No can do," Kirari chuckled as she kissed Sayaka's cheek, making her laugh. "Sayaka's logical nature means she's logical to the very core. She may see a picture of me, but her subconscious mind knows better. That cheap trick may work on toddlers in general, but it won't work on her. Isn't that right?"

Sayaka let out another happy laugh as Kirari nuzzled her nose against the side of her neck.

"Anyway, we have to go now, so..." Ririka said as she took Sayaka from Kirari and placed her back on Terano's lap.

Kirari winked at the toddler before hurriedly scurrying out with Ririka, knowing what was about to happen.

A crying sound was heard before the sound of numerous glass shattering.

"Wargh! What the hell——" Terano screeched.

Yumi covered her ears as Sayaka continued to cry.

This was going to be a long week.
