Once school ended for the 19 year old it was a weight lifted off his shoulders as he walked out of the school with no thoughts other than if his mother and sister were ok? Or if he was going to make it to work on time.
"Yah! Sungho!" Sungho turned to the voice calling out to him and there stood Taeyeob who was walking towards him with a smile.
"Have you finished the project you were complaining about?" Taeyeob questioned as he walked along side Sungho as it was their weekly thing.
"You were near when I started it, and yes I'm almost done." Sungho rolled his eyes as he walked. Sungho and Taeyeob didn't go to the same school but were close enough to walk together until they separated half ways.
"How's your sister? Didn't she get discharge a month ago?" Taeyeob questioned once more with a little worry written on his face as he thought of the others older sister.
"She's good, just the usual." Sungho said with a low voice as he thought back of what had happened a month ago, it sent shivers down his spine with a sour taste on his tongue with memories he couldn't just erase from his mind.
"Your mom?" Sungho looked over at Taeyeob with a smile of reassurance that he was fine before he answered the question.
"She's also fine, just scared she'll leave us soon." Sungho explained his worry as they came to a stop where they would separate. Being pulled into a hug by Taeyeob, Sungho let out a shaky breath before they pulled apart.
"You got today with them, and for sure tomorrow and the next day and before that. If you need anything just call me or text me." Taeyeob said as he smiled at Sungho before he waved and shouted one last thing before officially leaving the younger.
"See you at work!"
Smiling at the younger Sungho then continued on his walk home with the same thoughts running around in his head like there was no tomorrow, with a big sigh Sungho let it out before he picked up speed and walked the rest of the way home.
Unlocking his door Sungho shouted out calling for his sister who came walking down the stairs with a smile wearing her pajamas from last night.
"How was school?" Dae asked as she walked into the kitchen with two cups in her hands that seemed to be hers and they mothers.
"It was fine I guess, I just want to sleep for a few hours." Sungho pouted as he plopped onto the couch in the living room his big dropping to the floor with a heavy sigh leaving his mouth.
"I'm sorry you have to take care of me and mom Sung, I'll make it up to you. I promise." Dae said as she walked into the living room where Sungho sat looking up to the ceiling before he sat up properly.
"What do you mean?" Sungho questioned as he watched his sister set beside him with a sad smile before she spoke.
"I'm thinking of going to treatment." She said as it became quiet in the living room with Sungho just looking at his sister with thousands of thoughts running in his head before he was brought back with a touch of Dae's hand on his.
