Ravenpaw has what anybody would call a perfect life. She has her parents Mistyflight and Brackenclaw, who would do anything for her. She has her brother Falconpaw who is always fun and caring. She has a top mentor and is a first class apprentice. She thinks the world is perfect.
But when she one day wakes up and finds that her home, her family, her everything has burned down to ashes she must face the truth that nothing is perfect. In the real world there is pain, anger, fear. Ravenpaw must learn how to survive alone, who she can trust, and what she can truly call home.
