"Tommy says mingle and smile" Ada closed the door

"It must be the trains" Polly looked around for her new bloke

"No Ruben"

"Do you know any other guests from London not turned up?"

"Some, I think" She reassured Polly

"Pol, I'm paid by the company now, so I have to talk to other people" Ada spoke before walking away to negotiate

"Wait Ada, have you seen Rose?" Polly looked around the room no sign of Thomas's beloved wife or his little boy
She still couldn't trust her part of it being, Grace afraid of the same trust being betrayed and Shelby's on their knees to get back up to the hierarchy

"I think she went out with Charlie to calm him"
Polly nodded her head leaving Ada to walk off to socialise

The Shelby's, doing their bit to please their guests and make sure business goes smoothly.

Mingle and smile just instructed

"I just spoke to Johnny Dogs. He said the tunnels hit heavy clay" John sipped
"It's slowing him down" The brother argued

"How long?" Thomas asking

"Two days before they hit the wall"

"Tell him to dig a sinkhole to drain the clay" Tommy suggested, coming closer to John

"He's asked if you could go down and have a look yourself," John said

"I told him wild horses wouldn't get you down"

Tommy turned away as the business had reached its peak. The pressure was toppling as the business edged to be done.

But now with Charlie and a little Shelby on the way, he should focus on the well-being of his wife and boy. Speaking of which, he had seen no sign of his wife even his little boy who's normally running around his legs.

An older woman interrupted his thought process. Tommy hid the mask of worry and replaced it with a grin which could convince anyone

"Mr Shelby, I would just like to say I wish I could meet your dear wife, Rose"

"Well pregnancy has taken a toll on my dear wife" Tommy queried as he noticed his wife's absence

"And where's your little boy?" The older woman spoke as she looked around the room

"Gone with my wife to get some air, I think?" Thomas getting awkward with all these questions, quickly advised the women to seek advice from his secretary.

After multiple photos with the committee, he yearned for his wife and child. Walking outside to be greeted with no appearance from his wife or his son.

With the panic rising he quickly walked in and rushed over to his sister

"Where's Rose and Charles? Ada"

"There were outside"

"Where are they? Ada" His questions are no longer being answered
