The boxing continued as the ladies joined the raging crowd again.

Screaming so they could hear themselves clapping and praising Bonnie as he got battered

"Come on, Bonnie!" The women cheered

"Whoo! Come on Bonnie" Rosina screamed

"What the fuck are they laughing at?" As Thomas watched his wife. A sense of jealousy mixed inside of him as she cheered on another man

"It's that new batch" Rosina took large swigs before Linda took it off her. The fire kicked inside of her as she had taken quite a lot

"Too strong" Arthur complained but not directing his eye line to the women

The pills and the booze kicked in as he watched Goliath's coach he just stood there not cheering or screaming like the rest of them. Just waiting for something as he leant on the ropes

"Come on, Bonnie" Polly cheered

"Come on" The crowd shouted

Arthur still not watching the fight anxiously staring at the coach. Suddenly the coach stomped away and did not look back at the fight. Arthur gritted his teeth and stood up

"Arthur, leave it"

"Where is he going?" Arthur muttered

"Sit down and watch the fight, eh, Arthur!"

"Come here!" Waving his arm about

"Let me do my fucking job!" Arthur charged

The indistinct shouting went about as Tommy watched the fight

"So, when are you going to tell Tommy" As Ada joined the women

"Soon" Rosina answered

"You're gonna have to tell him some time" Polly reprimanded handing her a cigarette

"I know just not right now" Rosina adjusted as she took a much-needed puff

She diverted her eyes to her husband's seat with his back leaned at the front. Abruptly he stood up as he watched his gaze towards the man following him.

"Where's Tommy and Arthur?" Polly mentioned as she noticed the empty seats

"I don't know" Linda wondered

Polly sensed something was wrong, she placed the bottle on the ground.

"Come on Bonnie!" Linda continued to cheer as if she was not fazed by her husband's disappearance

Rosina worried as well but didn't stand risk the chance of hurting the baby

"I'll find him love" Polly assured Rose as she wandered off cautiously

Rosina bounced her leg up and down as Ada reassured her that Tommy would be fine
—————-
The gypsy boy had won but no cheering from the women.

Seconds later, Tommy came barging out as well as Polly behind him. Her eyes distraught with tears she walked over to Linda and sat her down

Tommy looked over to Polly as she told Linda what had happened

Arthur Shelby is dead

Tommy stormed out with the gun still in his hand and headed for the boxing ring.

Stopping when he saw the youngest brother cheering as Bonnie Gold had won, he placed his palms on the boy's cheeks and whispered the sorrowful news. Finn couldn't say anything before being pushed by Tommy to get out.

Rosina pushed through the crowd nearly falling over but being caught by her husband.
He helped her up and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder

"Tommy, what's happened?" Rosina worried
He whispered very carefully

"Arthur's dead" Tommy spoke

Rosina froze at the sound of the news

"He's dead" Tommy panted

Rosina looked over at Polly comforting Linda as she cried.

Rosina walked over and stroked Linda's back reassuringly

"I'm so sorry" Linda wept and held onto Rosina as she cried into her shoulder

A gunshot was heard through the roof, Rose looked over to see her husband with the gun raised and in the bullring

"Close the doors!" Tommy spat

"No one fucking leaves!" As the crowd proactively hid themselves

A few gunshots were heard again as he shot through them

"My brother is dead"

"You hear me? My brother is dead!" His voice shaking ever so slightly

Rosina watched as her husband collapsed onto the ground. His body shaking with sweat and deprivation

"Go" Polly nodded

Rosina shoved her way through the crowd

"Move!" She pushed away the punters

With the hand of Uncle Charlie, she got into the bullring. Tommy's eyes were still squeezed shut and not looking. Rosina kneeled and hugged Thomas close to her.

The crowd not shouting or wondering as Thomas embraced his wife, her hand soothingly running her hand up and down his back

"I've got you" as she lured the gun out of his grasp and handed it to Charlie. He took a couple of steps away, as he watched his distraught nephew weep on Rosina.

Gently rocking him side to side

Eyes shot wide

The crowd was silent

No one spoke

But they all watched, The gangsta Thomas Shelby cry onto his wife.
