Chapter 1

In the present, it was a beautiful Tuesday morning and it was 5 days till Christmas, and at the Muppet Babies Daycare, it was snowing a little outside and everyone was inside the playroom and they all were decorating the room with Christmas decorations.

"Thanks for inviting us." Captain Beakman said to Miss Nanny.

"It's my pleasure." Miss Nanny said.

They were all about to finish decorating.

"Looks like everything is all ready." Ava said as she hung up the wreath around the Scribble Screen.

June was looking out the window, "Guys, our friends are here." she said as she saw them about to land in front of the building.

"Wow, talk about the right timing." Gonzo said.

"Quick hide." JP said and everyone started hiding around the room and Mr. Manny turned off the lights.

Pip, Freddy, Carson, and the pups were wearing their winter clothes too and they started to land by the front and they started to walk to the door.

Pip opened the door, "Hello? Hello?" he asked as he and the others walked in the room and they were confused.

Freddy closed the door behind them.

"Huh, where is everyone?" Carson asked.

"And why is the room dark? Rolly asked.

Miss Nanny turned on the lights.

"Surprise!" Everyone shouts as they pop up from their hiding places.

"Whoa, what is all this?" Bingo asked.

"It's your surprise holiday anniversary party." Bodhi answered.

"Surprise!" Animal said as he threw little confetti and he chuckled.

"You've done so many nice things for us by going on missions, and we want to return the favor." Summer said.

"It was all your niece's idea." Captain Beakman said.

"Well actually not fully my idea. Only some were." June said as she chuckled a little.

"It really looks pup-tastic." Rolly said.

"I can't believe it's been a year since Carson and I became brothers." Freddy said as he was excited.

"Yeah, it feels like yesterday when I really messed up my wing and you guys took care of me and helped me find Pearl." Carson said as he picked up Pearl and hugged her.

"Yeah, and I can't believe that it's been a year since Bob saved me and met my friends who are now my brothers." Pearl said as Carson put Pearl back on the ground and she walked to Bingo, Rolly, and June and they hugged.

"Let's get this party started." Freddy said and the others started to cheer.

They were starting to walk to the kitchen, until Pearl accidentally tripped.

"Aunt Pearl, are you ok?" June asked as she helped Pearl.

"Yeah, I'm ok, little one." Pearl answered.

June looked at Pearl's left paw and she gasped as she was shocked.

"What is it?" Pearl asked as she was a little confused.

"It's your paw. It's changing to a different color." June answered as she started to point at Pearl's paw.

Pearl looked down and saw her paw changing to gray a little. "Oh no." she said.

"We've got to tell Uncle Bingo and Uncle Rolly." June said.

"I'm sure it's not that serious. I bet they won't see it much." Pearl said as she got up.
