First Weapons

Morning
I woke up and went to work.I built my door up with thorns and gum balls.When I was finished with that I made a little doggy door for mist so an incident like yesterday wouldn't happen again.Then made a little door in the door for me to easily move in and out.I went down to the water and washed the machete off.Plus my blood and Mists.When we were done with our baths we sat on the ledge of the cave and ate lunch.I tried to give mist some berries but he didn't eat them.I could tell that he was hungry though.I needed to get meat somehow.I went down to the water and saw some big fish.I tried to sneak up on them but they were too quick.I needed like a spear or something.I had an idea.I went to my bag and got my heels out.I ripped the heel of one shoe and cut the extra fabric off.I took one of the left over medium sticks and whittled it to a point.Then I took the rope plant and tied the heel to the end.I had made a 2 pointed spear.Before I got to huntin I made a couple more spears.I made a 3 point one with a sharp rock in the middle.Another one was bigger and had more of a point for larger game.Plus I had the machete.Once I put my weapons away in a secret spot I walked to the beach and got started.Before I actually began I tried an egg.It slowly came out of its shell and into my mouth.The yoke was slimy and salty.I tried to swallow it.It slipped down my throat and I tried not to choke.I tried another one and I got used to it.I ate 5 before I slowed down so I didn't eat them all.I gave a couple to mist and he also gulped them down.When he finally had slurped the rest I waded into the shallow part and got ready.A small fish slowly came up to me and nibbled my leg.I threw the spear down and brought it back up.No fish was on it.I got ready again and this time a medium sized fish came up to me.I was about to throw it when mist jumped in and tried to grab the fish.He brought his head out of the water and had a fish in his mouth."Way to go boy!"I cheered.He swam to shore and dug in.I was still hungry though.Another fish came by and I threw my spear.When I pulled it up there was a wiggly fish on it.I started to do my victory dance again.When my "spasm"was done I walked back to the cave to clean the fish.I was finally done and the cave smelled so bad but I didn't care.I was about to take a bite when I realized I had to cook it.But with what!I grabbed some twigs and pine straw and set them in the middle of the cave.I hit my machete agains the wall trying to create sparks.I had learned this trick from when I threw the machete at Mist.One hit me and the others went in all directions except towards the fire.I tried a different angle and it still didn't work.The 6th or 7th time I tried it I hit it.I quickly laid down and blew on the fire.It caught a stick and another until I had a fire going.I had created fire!🔥I grabbed a flat rock and laid it on the fire.I then grabbed the fish meat and laid it on the rock.I was proud of myself.While the fish cooked I went down to the beach to collect more eggs.When I came back up with 5 eggs the fish was ready.I put the eggs up and began to eat.I had fresh water,fish,and berries.When I was done and full I sat on the ledge of the cave.The sunset was beautiful.Mist had laid down beside me and I was petting him.Today I had learned a lot.The sunset was kinda going slow so I began my next idea.I went down to the woods and grab small limbs.I took some of the rope plant and tied them together but with space in between them.I then went down to shore and shoved the wood into the sand.The water soaked the wood in a matter of seconds.The water had made a little pond in the wood.I say fish swimming in and out of it.My fish pond was working.By this time the sky had begun to have stars.🌟I walked up the stairs and through my door.The fire had gone out by know but I could build back up.I grabbed some twigs and pine straw.I blew on the fire and it ignited.I grabbed the extra pine straw,twigs and sticks and then put them in the corner.I went up to my bed and watched the fire.I was full,warm,clean and safe.I all of a sudden was home sick.I started to cry.Mist looked up at me and licked my tears away.I petted him and he fell back asleep.I started to sing the song my family sung to me."You are my sunshine...my only sunshine."my voice cracked."You make me happy..when skies are gray.You'll never know dear how much I love you.So don't take my sunshine away."I couldn't see through my tears.I kept singing that until I fell asleep.
