Rescued

In the morning the destruction was terrible.Trees were pulled down,water was everywhere,fish and fruits were pulled apart across the island.The door had been ripped off and our weapons were thrown onto the beach.My fish pond was destroyed."Great,that's were I usually fish."I yelled,waking up Andi and Bails.Mist yawned and came over to me."Morning boy."I say,I pet him and sit on the ledge."Wow."Bailey says,looking at the damage."So know what?"Andi asks."We survived off of a deserted island,I think we'll be good."I say.We get started by changing into our actual clothes."Today we'll focus on collecting food,water,fire wood,and fixing the door."I tell them."Alright,we'll go get the door again and fire wood."Andi says.I nod.They leave with their spears and Mist."Alright my turn."I think,grabbing the water jugs.When we had gone to the back of the cave we grabbed all the things on the shelves.Food,water,baskets,fishing poles,etc.I walked down the path and to the beach.The water was way higher know.It was filled with dead fish,pieces of fruit,trees,and leaves.I pushed those things away and tried to get fresh water into the jugs.It wasn't clean by the shore though.In the more deeper end there was barely anything.I walked out to the fresh water until I was standing on my tippy toes.I filled the jug up and tried to walk back to shore.The jug was so heavy that it started to sink.I couldn't pull it up so I dropped it."NOO!"I screamed.I dived down and found the jug.I bear hugged it and tried to pull it up.I hit the surface and sucked in air.The jug pulled me back in.My feet slipped and I fell to the bottom.The jug fell on top of me and I tried to push it off.I could feel the air leaving me.Darkness started to fill my eyes.Just when I was about to black out I saw a hand reaching for me.

When I wake up I'm in the cave.Andi is sitting on her bed next to mine."Hey,what happened?"I asked."You drowned trying to get the water jug full."she said."Oh."I say."Wait,please tell me no one kissed me!"I ask.She laughs"no we
just pumped your chest.""Oh."I chuckle.I sit up and cough up some water."Did you grab the jug?"I ask."Yea,Bailey grabbed it after you went under."she answered."ok good,I'm going to go and fill up the other one."I say,standing up."We already did.Bailey is getting food and I'm about to get fire wood."she said."Alright."I say."Stay here."she says,giving me the death stare."ok ok I will."I sigh.When she's out of sight I sneak out the back.I need to help some how.I grabbed my fishing pole and 2 baskets.I could sneak down the other side of the beach.Beside the grassy hill.I sneaked past Andi and Bailey then go to the beach.I lay my pole down and walk into the woods.I find as many life bugs as possible and head back out.I put a beetle on the hook and cast it out.After a couple minutes I get a nibble.Then the bobber completely goes down.I yank the pole and try to pull the fish in.I turn around to see the huge fish from the reef.It had gotten bigger.I yank and struggle to pull it in.When it flops onto land I see that it's a tuna."What!What are you doing here?"I ask the fish.He flops in response."Ok."I say.I wait until he flops his last and I drag him up to the cave.I pass by Andi and Bailey on the way."Hey guys!"I say."Jaden?"Bailey exclaims."That's big mama!"Andi says,running over to me.She grabs "her"tail and helps me take her up to the cave.Again with Bailey she couldn't help cause of her rod.He plop the fish down and take a breather."We've been trying to catch big mama since we got here."Bailey says,walking in and sitting on her bed."Really?"I ask them."Yea,she's too fast."Andi says."Well then tonight we feast but with fish and no storm to ruin it."I say.We put the cave on the ledge to dry out and go to my plane.We cut out another door and take it back to the cave.We make the door over again and when we're done its nearly sunset.We go to the beach and take our baths.We clean our clothes and go back to the cave to get dried.When we are dried we put our dresses back on and go to collect lightning bugs.Before we left I finally got to take my stitches out.When we are walking back we spot some flowers.We grab as many as we see and go back to decorate.When we get back into the cave we put the flowers everywhere and let the lightning bugs go.We try to redo each others markup and hair but it was hard cause we were laughing so hard.When we were done we picked our favorite left over packets and ate.We talked and laughed when I heard Mist start to growl.He was at the door keeping watch.I got up and stepped out onto the ledge.I saw plane lights in the distance."Guys!A plane!"I yell,we run down the path to our huge bomb fire.I had grabbed a torch from our fire and threw it into the pile.It engulfed the pine straw and caught the twigs,then the limbs and then the logs.The fire roared to life and reached for the sky.The plane flew by and kept going."NOO!"Andi screamed.She crumbles to the ground and starts to cry.I sit down beside her and hug her.I whisper to her,"He'll come back.Its ok."I say.Bailey sits down beside her and hugs her too."Come on,let's go back to the cave."I say,pulling Andi up with me.We start to walk back when I hear an engine.I look up to see the plane circling the island,looking for a spot to land.We run up to the cave and grab everything.Our clothes,makeup,food,water weapons,and the kits.When the plane lands we are sitting on the cave ledge.We had changed back to our regular clothes so it didn't seem like we had just crashed.The pilot walks up the trail to the cave."You ladies need a lift?"he asks."Yes please."I say,I grab their hands and we walk to the plane.I push them in and I'm about to follow when I remember something."Wait,I forgot something."I tell the pilot.He shakes his head.I run up to the cave and grab Mist in my arms."We're leaving."I say to him.I hop into the plane and the pilot freaks out."He's tame,it's ok."I say.He shakes his head and starts the plane up.We fall asleep after he takes off.
