Snake Medicine

I wake up and get ready.I eat the rest of my berries and put the fire out."Wake up!"I yell.Bailey jumps up"COLBY!"she screams.I laugh.Andi looks like a marshmallow.I walk over to her."Andi,you ok?"I ask.She tries to opens her eyes,they're swollen too,she nods."Ok here's the deal.We don't know which way to go so your going to need to lead us."I say.She nods again."Ok,I'm going to put you on my back and u point the way."I tell her.She nods."Alright here we go."I say.I put her on my back and walk the way she points.Bailey would do it too but she has a rod and it's not safe.We take a break and I try to get Andi to have some water.She takes a little and falls onto my shoulder."Are we almost there?"I ask her.She nods."Ok."I say,putting her on my back again.We did this for about 20 more minutes.When we finally made it back to the cave,I nearly passed out."Were here!"I say,laying Andi onto her bed."What do we do?"Bailey asked."My crash."I whispered,remembering the survival kit and first aid."What?"she asked."On my plane there was a survival kit and first aid.They had to of had snake bite stuff."I say."I need to go find it."I rush,walking towards the door."Your not going anywhere until you cool down and eat something."Bailey tells me."Ok but 3minutes."I say."5"Bailey says."4"I say back."fine,4"she groans.In those 4 minutes I gather water,left over food,my spear,and machete."Wish me luck."I say,hugging Bailey goodbye."Please be careful."she cries."I will."I say,getting teary eyed."Keep her safe mist."she tells him.She pets him one more time.I wave goodbye and go to the woods.It was almost sun down so I had to be quick.The plane crash wasn't that far from the cave,I think.As I'm walking along I feel a raindrop hit me.Then another and another.The sky had turned gray and I hadn't noticed.I run under a tree and watch the rain.I drink half my water bottle and put it out to catch the rain.When the storm finally stops I grab my bottle and head on.A couple minutes later I trip and land in a trail.But it wasn't a trail,it was the dirt dragged away by my plane crash.I follow it down to my plane.Its rusty and I can see the spot where Andi and Bailey got our door.I chuckle.Vines had taken over it and roots grew through it.I walk into the opening and hesitantly step into the plane.Flies are everywhere and I can see why.The crazy dude wasn't there.Only his bones and some meat on some spots.Animals had come and picked him clean.I tried not to vomit.I stepped over the body and swatted away some flies.I went to the spot where I had last seen the first aid and survival kit.In the pilots room.The door had one huge claw mark going down it.I slowly opened the door and smelled a terrible odor.The pilot was picked even cleaner than the crazy man.He had no meat what so ever and looked like he had been torn apart.His bones were thrown everywhere.Mist had stayed outside thankfully or he would of had a bone feast on one of the family friends.I stepped over the bones and search the room.Im about to give up when I feel the plane shift.Mist is going crazy.I hear a growl and nails hitting the plane floor.I slowly walk over to the door and peek out.I see the black bear.He's picking at the crazy man's bones.I shut the door and continue my search.I find it jammed under the control panels.I reach in and tug it out.I put it in my bag and look for the first aid.I didn't find it in the pilots room so it must of been in the main plane.I peek out the door again and see the bear fighting mist.Mist please be careful,I think to myself.I sneak out the door and search the main room.Watching the bear once and a while.I finally find it and put it in my bag.Just when I'm about to step out,the bear lunges at me.I don't have time to react and he tackles me.He starts biting me and scratching me.I put my arms up to protect me and he goes for my arms.I use one arm to protect me and grab my spear with the other one.I jam it into his side and he roars out in pain.He jumps off of me and I run past him.Mist runs with me and I run until I reach the cave.It was sunset and I could tell there was a storm coming.I run into the cave and shut the door.Bailey wakes up and smiles at me.She sees my wounds and almost screams.I put my finger to my mouth and show her to be quiet.The bear walks up to the door and sniffs.It seemed like forever until he left."Hey.What happened?did you find it?"Bailey whispers."Yea,the bear attacked me."I whisper back.I pull the first aid out and search it until I find the snake shot.I go up to Andi and stick it where the snake bit her.She moans but then stops when she realizes what it is."That should do it."I say."Good,we need to check what else there is."Bailey says.I agree and we split up.I search the survival kit and she searches the first aid.She found bandages,wooden tongue holders,a stitch kit,and tons of other things.I found powdered food,matches,pots and pans,kerosene,3 blankets and small pillows and on and on."Sweet,we can have a feast."Bailey says,staring at the peach cobbler."Let's wait until a couple days.A huge storm is coming and we need to get prepared."I say."Alright,but first we need to get u cleaned."she laughs,holding up my sleeve."ok."I say.I check on Andi and head down to the beach.I hand Bailey my clothes and she cleans them off for me with the soap from the survival kit.I grab the other bar and wash myself.While my clothes are drying Bailey stitches me up and puts bandages on.When my clothes are finally dry I help Bailey clean too.I clean her clothes and lay them out.When she's done we go back up to the ledge and dry off.Eating trail mix and talking.We are about to put our dry clothes on when Andi comes out and sits with us."Feeling better?"I ask."Yes,a lot thanks."she says."No prob."I reply."What happened to your clothes?!!"she asks."Bear attacked me.No biggie."I answer,eating a peanut."Thats a biggie!you could of died."she yells."You could of too."I whisper.She gives me a hug and then Bailey.When we finally break free we all start laughing."Come on,bath time."I say,pulling Andi up.We help her down to the beach and let her wash.Me and Bails wash her clothes and let them dry.When all out clothes are dry we put them on and walk back into the cave.We cool up some fish and settle down."I found sleeping bags and pillows."I tell Andi."there going to feel like marshmallows."she laughs.Then we all start laughing.We are cut off by a big boom of thunder."well the storm is getting closer."Bailey says,grabbing her sleeping bag and pillow.Me and Andi follow.We all set up our beds and stay up taking.Like a sleepover until one by one we all fell asleep.I was the last one."We're surviving."I tell Mist before falling into a wonderful sleep.
