3rd Person POV
Shoto Todoroki wakes up due to a loud crash coming from downstairs. 'Must be my bitch of a dad'.
He decides to just close his eyes and try and get a few more minutes left of peace and quiet before his father comes knocking on his door demanding things from him.
And just like that, the silence was broken. A knock at the door followed by "Shoto. Shoto. Shoto don't ignore me!"
Todoroki softly sighs then gets up to open the door.
"Sorry. What do you need father."
He says almost like it isn't a question.
"Go and get these things from whatever place you can find. We're running out"
He hands shoto a list with certain food items.
"Okay. I will be out in a few minutes."
His father nods then leaves. Shoto cloes the door and reads the note again to fully acknowledge what he needs to buy.
Looks like mostly all fruits and vegetables. This man never let's Shoto eat anything sweet or 'unhealthy' because he doesn't want shoto to get out of shape so that way he can follow in his footsteps in being the number one hero.
(Didn't know if yall knew that this story wasn't an AU with no powers. Cause its not)
Todoroki puts the note down on his bed then gets some comfortable pants and a shirt along with an unzipped jacket. He figured he should wear long clothing because the rain probably made everything wet and cold.
He then grabs the note again, takes one last glance, then pockets the note. Not caring if it gets crumpled.
"Oh shit. I need to brush my teeth."
He slightly mutters to himself before he goes to the bathroom and tries to brush his teeth without drooling toothpaist on his clothes he just put on.
He's usually better than this but his routine kind of got messed up due to it being summer.
He leaves his room and goes downstares to the front door, not caring about announcing the fact that he's leaving.
'I might as well take a walk before heading to the store. I don't need to get home right away. It's kind of nice today'
He takes this opportunity, not knowing if/when he would be able to just walk around again and admire the sky and the trees.
He walks around for a bit before heading to a park. This park has a little area with a tiny river with ducks and fish and all sorts of things. He's never actually gone into that area but he has walked past it a few times.
He plans on doing the same before he sees someone there. He can't really see any features of this person due to their hood being up. But he sees something on this person's arm.
He walks a little closer, but not too close. He doesn't want anyone to think he is staring. Even though he technically is.
He realizes that the marks on this person's arms is self-harm.
They look pretty recent as well.
Todoroki contemplates walking away and doing what he was sent out to do.
But why would he just walk away, knowing that something is going on.
He was that person. He was the person sitting away from everyone with fresh cuts on his arms.
He wouldn't be able to forget this person if he just walked away.
So he decides to try something.
