Some of the information in the next chapter might be false (correct me on anything that you know for a fact is wrong)
Some of the information in this story might only be true for some people with certain experiences.

These are some of the words that will he used in this next chapter. Correct me on any definitions that you know are not correct.

And feel free to skip this A/N if you already understand these words and the meanings, or if you don't care.

Hallucinations: A perception of having seen, heard, touched, tasted, or smelled something that wasn't actually there.

Delusions: A false belief or judgment about external reality, held despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, occurring especially in mental conditions.

Hallucination vs delusions: A hallucination involves the senses and feels real but is not. A delusion is a false belief that persists in spite of evidence.
Basically, a hallucination may seem real but is not. Sometimes, people with hallucinations can tell if what they see is real or just their brain, but sometimes it can be difficult to know for sure. A delusion does not affect your senses. They are beliefs. Someone with delusions will believe something despite having no evidence or having evidence that disproves their belief.

The types of delusions include: persecutory, erotomanic, grandiose, jealous, somatic, mixed, and unspecified.

Persecutory: The belief that a person/ group of people want to hurt them.

Erotomanic: When an individual thinks that someone (usually) of higher power than them is in love with them.

Grandiose: Inaccurate belief that one has special/higher powers, wealth, mission, or identity.

Mixed: When an individual experiences multiple different types of delusions, none are more common than another.

Unspecified: Delusions that do not fit any type of category.

Types of schizophrenia: paranoid, catatonic, disorganized, residual, and undifferentiated.

(These are still titles and features of schizophrenia, but experts no longer think of them as distinct subtypes due to overlapping symptoms)

Paranoid: The most common type of schizophrenia, and involves hallucinations and delusions where a person can be distrustful or suspicious of people.

Catatonic: When an individual might not respond to the things around them while still being aware. (Along with too many symptoms to put)

Disorganized: A person with schizophrenia who has symptoms including: disorganized thinking. unusual speech patterns. flat affect. emotions that don't fit the situation.

Residual: A subtype of schizophrenia in which the individual has suffered an episode of schizophrenia but there are no longer any delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech or behavior.

Undifferentiated: A person with schizophrenia who does not classfy with any of the subtypes.

There are many types of Narcism but the type of narcissism that will be shown in this story will be Malignant narcissism.

Malignant Narcissism: A narcissist who takes great pleasure in watching others in pain/causing people to suffer.

Schizophrenia is usually diagnosed anywhere between the late teen years and the early 30s. When teens are diagnosed before they're 18, it's called early-onset schizophrenia. Kids younger than 13 can develop schizophrenia too, known as childhood-onset schizophrenia, but this is extremely rare.

Children with schizophrenia have the same symptoms as adults with the condition. But more children hear voices. Children also don't tend to have delusions or formal thought problems until they are in their teens or older. These symptoms may look like other health problems.

Enjoy the next chapter.

I personally suffer from mental health conditions, but not schizophrenia. I do experience some symptoms due to the mental illness I do have. So some of the things in the next chapter and afterwards might be things I personally experience, or could be things I've written due to the research I've done. If you have schizophrenia/any type of symptoms that are being described in this book, please leave a comment and fix anything I got wrong, or feel free to tell me some things you personally experience.
