If Buck was shot instead of Eddie
(Idk if it's just me or if anyone else has watched too many edits on TikTok but when I imagine this scene, I imagine "Don't blame me" by Taylor swift playing)

-Buck and Eddie chatting after a call-

-Gunshots-

Buck POV:

I am chatting with Eddie after a call, he was in his street clothes though because it was his day off but he saw me so he came over, and then I started hearing these gunshots, before I can react, I felt this sharp pain in my chest and when I looked down, I saw blood dripping...I was shot. I tried to get behind a truck but it was too late, I fell and I felt too paralyzed to move. When I was on the ground, I saw Eddie under the truck starring at me, almost feeling guilty and he reached over and pulled me under the truck too. Once they knew it was safe, they pulled me into the ambulance and I only remember it to about there because everything turned black after that.

Eddie POV:

It was day off and Christopher is with Carla because she said that I apparently "need a break from everything and everyone" so I went to get some coffee. On my way there though, I saw the 118 truck and I saw afamiliar face, Buck, we talked for a bit until I heard the sound of gunshots and I saw Bucks chest start getting red and bloody but before I can try to get to him, another fire fighter pulled me under a truck. As I was under the truck, all I saw was Buck staring at me like his eyes were pleading for help, when it felt a bit safer, I pulled him closer and we put him in the ambulance to bring him to the hospital. I stopped the bleeding but then his heart stopped so I had to do CPR while someone else was still applying pressure to the bleed. When we got to the hospital, we sent him off to the doctors and I had to call everyone, it felt impossible to tell Maddie and Bobby, Buck is literally Maddie's brother, she's already lost one brother, she can't lose another, and we all know that Bobby thinks of Buck like his own son.
They all came to the waiting room and a doctor came to tell us an update, Buck was in a coma because the bullet hit a something, I didn't hear completely everything because the second I heard he was ok but in a coma, every thing around me became blurry.
When I got home, I saw Chris and Carla hanging out and playing, Carla saw me come in and she asked how my day was and I said "fine" but she noticed something was up so she followed me to my room and asked me if I'm ok but but this time I answered by saying "Buck was shot" and Carla freaked out, I explained to her what happened and she looked worried, "ok, I'll leave you with Christopher and I'll check on him tomorrow, also, tell Chris, he's been talking about hanging out with Buck all day".
I just realized that I will also have to tell Chris... when I told him that he can't see Buck, his faced dropped and I had to explain that he's recharging in the hospital.
When I put Christopher to sleep and I went to my room and I couldn't breath, I was having a panic attack, the thought of Buck dying would be unbearable, he is the light of the 118 and everyone's lives in it, he is like Chris's second dad and to be honest, he's more than my best friend, I love him (weather it's romantic or platonic)
...
Every morning, the first thing I check is my phone in case Buck woke up, today, I finally got that text! When I got into the kitchen, Carla and Chris were already there and eating breakfast, Carla noticed I was smiling and she asked "what's got you so happy today?" and said "Buck's awake!" Carla's face lit up and Chris asked if he could come and see him, I told him that kids can't come into the ICU but he was too cute to say no to so I told him that I would sneak him in but he has to do all his homework first.

When I came into Bucks room, I felt so happy and relieved, Buck was alive! Buck and I started talking and he said "at least I wasn't struck by lightning" (if only he knew) but I said "don't test your chances".

Buck is safe...
