"So, what's actually going on here?" I asked, "You seem to know more than us."
"Not a clue. For some reason I was told to look for you two." The guy responded, still seeming to be in a foul mood. I thought he would be worried or confused at the very least, but no. It seemed to be a small inconvenience at most to him.
"Who?" Ben asked. We stopped at a giant red door, it looked so out of place here compared to its dull surroundings.
"The others. I was told that there's supposed to be 20 of us. We had 18, and for some reason I was the one nominated to hunt for you two, who seem incapable of finding your way round here." I felt so tempted to make some sort of remark or comment, well excuse me for not knowing my way round a building I've never been to before in my entire life, but I kept my mouth shut.
"Others?" Ben questioned again.
He sighed, "Yes, others." He pushed open the red door to reveal a giant hall of people. "Found them." He groaned, walking away, not wanting to spend a single second more than he had to with us.
We were met with 17 judgemental gazes, "This is all of us then?" One of them asked.
"Should be, apparently there's supposed to be 20 of us." Another pointed out.
It took me a few seconds to realise who were in front me. These were some of the most talented people in the country, some even classed as celebrities. As I scanned the crowd in front of me, I froze up, noticing a certain person who stood out in the crowd.
"Um, is that...?" I shivered as I stood in horror, my gaze locked on to them.
"Yup, the one and only, the ultimate serial killer herself, Emily Slater, AKA, Little Miss Slasher." She laughed manically.
"Why the fuck is she here?" I stepped back.
"No one knows, we were just as horrified as you when we saw her." One of them said. This one looked a bit more professional, I guess you could say. He was one of only two people who were dressed in what looked like an actual school uniform, the other being the one who found us. Unlike most of the people there, I didn't recognise those two as much as I did the rest though.
"As a matter of fact, no one knows what's going on here at all." Another said. A loud screech suddenly burst from speakers that were hooked up on the walls. I cupped my hands over my ears, as the noise ripped into them.
"Mic testing. One, two, one, two. Can anyone hear me on this thing?"
