Figuring it Out (temporary name) Chase X Rocky

Chapter 1

It was a regular day in Adventure Bay. All the pups were playing tag in the park. Going back and forth as they tap one another and run away. It was extremely hot out and the sun was blazing down on them. There was a small breeze, but it was uncommon for it to be this hot on a spring day. Rocky stops for a second and look up at the sky. The clouds slowly move by, and some birds fly past. "I love Spring!" he smiles and closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath. He sits on the ground and enjoy the cooling temperature coming from the grass. The leaves on the trees rustle as the wind blows. His ears shift and twitch as he hears footsteps approaching him. "Rocky, Look out!" Rocky opens his eyes and look to his side and sees Chase running towards him. In shock Rocky stumbles on his paws trying to stand up. Chase jumps and pounces on him. "Gotcha!" He says laughing. He gives Rocky a small kiss and moves off him. "What are you doing cutie?" Rocky looks back up at the sky. "I was just enjoying the weather." Chase sighs. "It is really nice out today." He lays on his back and rolls in front of Rocky. Rocky looks down and Chase looks up at him. Rocky kisses him and Chase smiles. "Hey love birds! Are you still playing?" They turn my head and see Skye walking towards them. Chase shakes his head. "We are taking a small brake." She nods. "Ok guys, just tell us when you're ready to join back in." She turns and runs back to the others. The two of them sit and watch the other pups play. They continue to run back and forth. Chase cheers and yells to the other pups telling them to run. Rocky scooches to Chase's side and lay down next to him. Snuggling his face into his chest as his tail wags.

Chase and Rocky have been dating for a while now. It isn't very common to see two males together in Adventure Bay, so they are often looked down upon. At first people didn't understand their love or why they would like each other but as the days past people either didn't care or just ignored them. The two of them decided they weren't going to let other people choose who they were.

As Rocky lays close to Chase, he listened to the other pups laugh. Wagging his tail happily.

What could possibly happen on a calm day like this?
