"Christine, get ready you have ten minutes, we are going grocery shopping." Dad said
"Um, but dad, today I was planning going pumpkin carving with Lia and Ben." I answered
"I said get ready." He stated
"Dad, can I please stay home for today?" I asked
"No, and listen clearly I wasn't asking you," he started, "It's an order."
"Fine."
He slammed the door close and I sighed. Really?
Why do they obligate me to things I do not want to do?
Okay, so ten fucking minutes to get fucking ready. Whatever. I'll do whatever I can. Small and natural make up, perfume, somewhat cute outfit.
I went downstairs and I swear I had a face I was dying,
"If we finish quick, you'll have permission to go with your friends, Anna." Dad stated firmly, but so firmly as.. as a soldier
"Call me Christine, please." I said quietly
"Anna is also your name, and I'll call you whatever I want to."
Dad left upstairs because he had forgotten the keys,
"Mom, what's wrong with him today?" I asked, I'll admit I felt the tears in my eyes
"I don't know, honey, just obey him, he'll be the same later.." she sighed
We all went to the supermarket, when I say all, I mean all, the four of us. Mom and dad were helping each other with the groceries, while Elliot and I.. no comments, we were just talking and walking through the halls.
"I need an Arizona tea." I stated
"Let's go and get it, I want a Mountain Dew."
I threw my arm around his shoulders while we walked around the supermarket looking for the right hall. We found it in the matter of minutes, actually we are not new at this.
While Elliot grabbed his mountain dew, I tried to reach my Arizona tea but failed at it. The struggling of being so small.
"Wow, need some help?" A manly voice said reaching the Arizona I wanted and handed it to me
"Thank you."
"I'm Drake." he smiled
"Hi, I'm Christine." I smiled back
I looked up and saw eyes I have seen before, not exactly, but similar to other ones I have seen. The guy was handsome, he had this dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He looked around 17 years old. Not bad, to be honest.
"Hey bro, did you get the coke?" I heard from behind but this guy covered the other guy
"I was about to when I bumped into this beautiful girl," He said smiling, yup.. I blushed after that sentence
"C'mon dude! Can you please hurry the fuck up?" I heard laughing from the other guy
"Christine, this is my younger brother, Edward."
He moved from in front of him and there he was, Edward Thompson, my Edward Thompson. He smiled at me at the minute he saw me, I couldn't help but smile back.
Edward's POV
When Drake moved, I saw Christine. That cute, beautiful, small and amazing Christine I met at the coffee shop. My Christine Houdelot.
At the minute I saw her I smiled at her, she smiled back, it was so cute, I couldn't help it.
"Hi, Christine." I gave her a small hug
"Did you guys know each other?" Drake asked
"Uh yeah, we met at Harry's Coffee Shop the other day." She told Drake
"Oh cute, isn't that the coffee shop on sixth street?" Drake asked
"Yup. Her uncle's the owner." I laughed
"Sure he is." we all laughed, "by the way, this is my brother Elliot."
She pulled a boy's arm, and wrapped her arm around his shoulders. He looked like 13 or 14. He looked a lot like her, but he had lighter hair than Christine did.
"Kids, let's go home!" A woman said calling them
She gave us quick hugs and left with her brother. I sighed watching her leave. Drake patted my back,
"You like her, don't you?" He asked
"I love her, dude."
