"It was great spending the day with you, Chris." Ed blushed, smiling
"It was amazing." I smiled back
Ed gave me a small hug, and when we pulled apart, We looked at each other. We never broke eye contact. It didn't feel uncomfortable, it felt quite cute. Nobody talked we just stood there looking at each other.
Suddenly, he started leaning in, I looked to my feet but followed him and did the same. When we were inches apart, We heard the car's honk which made us separate. I looked at my feet blushing, while he placed his hand on my cheek rubbing it gently.
"You're so beautiful, Chris." He said
"Well, thank you." I giggled
"I think I'm falling for you."
I blushed deeply and didn't say anything, maybe I should have said something but nerves consumed me not letting any word out.
"Goodnight, Christine." He kissed my cheek softly, and walked back to Drake's car slowly.
I opened the door and when I closed it, I sighed smiling.
"Who was that guy?" My dad asked
Holy Shit. I'm screwed.
"M-My Friend." I stuttered
"Sure, your friend. And why he was about to kiss you?"
"No he wasn't." I chuckled nervously
"I saw everything, Anna Christine." He shouted
"Dad, how old am I?" I asked
"Well, you're 15." He responded
"I believe I can make my own decisions, I choose what makes me happy but you're always there ruining what I like and want." I yelled and ran upstairs
"Christine!" I heard from my dad
No. Not this time, I'm tired my dad still thinks I'm 9 and that he has to make every decision for me. If I like Edward, okay fine, just stop disturbing me and annoying the hell out of me.
Michael's POV
I'm tired and annoyed. Christine was never like that before I left for that stupid war. Christine was always the cute and educated, she was the type of girl who wouldn't even kill a fly, but I'm a hundred percent sure, now she could kill a lion.
What happened? Why did I lose my beautiful daughter? What happened to her?
Maybe.. She's not the one who's out of control, and maybe I'm the one who is overreacting. She's a teenager. But that's something I don't understand. Christine is beautiful. She has that attitude every guy would look for it in a girl. She is a beautiful 15-year-old girl. I have to accept that a lot of guys want her to be with them, and that one day a boy will walk in this house as my daughter's boyfriend.
Christine's POV
I walked in my parent's room and saw my mother who was the one I wanted to talk to.
"Mom.." I said spilling tears
"Christine.. What's wrong?" She said wrapping her arms around my body
"I'm tired of my father." I said
"Chris, He only wants to protect you." She stated
"But everything was better when he was away!" I cried and she hugged me tighter
"It will be okay." She said
When my father walked in the room, I stood up from the bed and left without saying anything or even looking at him,

"Chris, what's wrong?" Edward asked from the other side of the phone
"Ed, please pick me up, I need to get out of this house for a while." I cried
"Okay, okay, I'll be there in 10 minutes."
And he was right, 10 minutes later, he was outside my house. It was kinda late, so my parents and my brother were already asleep. I tip toed downstairs and closed the door.
"Where are we heading?" He asked driving off
"The coffee shop." I answered
***
"Christine, how are we going to go inside this place?" He questioned scared
"Edward, My uncle's the owner. I have a key." I said taking it out
"Oh, alright." Ed chuckled, "And why are we coming here?"
"Just to drink coffee, relax a bit, you know forget our problems for a while."
I grabbed two cups of flavored coffee and some chocolate chip cookies. I put it on top of the table and sat next to Ed. I laid my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around my body.
"Chris?" He said
"Yeah?" I grabbed a cookie
"Can I tell you something?" He asked and I just nodded
"I like you." He stated
I lifted my head up and looked at him straight into those beautiful and loving brown eyes.
"Can I also tell you something?" I asked avoiding any comment he did
"Tell me." He looked down
"I like you too." His eyes lighten up and he smiled sweetly. He wrapped his arms around me, embracing me into a hug. Edward kissed my head and whispered in my ear,
"Whatever problem you have, I'll be here for you. And I promise it's going to be alright."
"Thank you, Ed." I whispered back
I closed my eyes, and started sobbing into his chest. The only thing that could cheer me up was the fact that Edward told me he liked me and that he was by my side. But what keeps me sad is the fact that I practically lost my father and our father and daughter relationship.
"My dad's driving me crazy.." I said crying
"Shh.." He cooed, "Beautiful, It'll be okay."
"Give me a smile." He stated and I gave him a small smile
"That's what I like." He said
"What?" I asked
"I like to see you smiling, because that smile could burn Rome down. Your smile is precious. Keep it there, and make sure it doesn't fade." Ed said making me truly smile. This guy is the best person in the world and I'm sure he'll make me happy for the rest of my days
