I was up on the watchtower doing my shift and was just admiring the sunrise. Today would be the 2nd week everyone from Woodberry has arrived. There was this girl that I started to talk to. The girls name was autumn and she was 16. *picture of autumn above*
Autumn was a lot like me, similar personality and style. She also had a hard childhood growing up.
"Hey girl" autumn said sitting down next to me
"Hey" I said smiling at her
"How much longer is your shift?" She asked
"About 20 minutes"
"Ok I'll wait with you, after you get off want to go find something to eat?"
"Sure" I replied
"Sooooooo" she dragged out
"Like anyone?" I said with a smirk on my face
"Um no" she said hesitatingly, blushed and looked down
"TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME" I demanding shaking her
"Pinkie promise you won't tell" I stuck out my pinkie
"nick" she admitted
"I ship it" I screeched
"Shut you mouth court" she demanded
I looked around from the watch tower to try to find nick and I saw him sitting at the table with carl. Nick was tall, about 5"10 with messy dark brown hair, hazel eyes and the perfect smile. Him and autumn would look adorable together.
"You know you guys would actually be perfect for each other" I admitted
"You think?"
"I know"
"Why?"
"Because first off by looks you guys just look adorable together and you guys have to the same personality, being a sarcastic ass"
She just bursted into laugher
"Thanks I guess" she said and put her arms around my shoulder
"Come on" I said "let's go get food
============================
*time skip to when they go into the main room and get there food*
"There's no empty tables" autumn whispered to me
I just looked at her and looked back to the table where carl and nick were sitting
"No please" she begged
"To late" I said with a smile on my face and sat down next to carl
"Hey" carl said to me with a smile
"Hey" I said back
"My names Courtney"
"Nick" he replied with a slight head nod
"And that's autumn" I added in
"So whatcha guys talking about" I asked carl
"Nothing really, just.. Boy stuff"
Me and autumn looked at eavhother wide eyed and then bursted into a fit of laughter.
"No I uh mean not that kind of stuff!" Carl exclaimed
This even got a slight chuckle from nick
"Anyways" I said finishing up my meal "I'll just leave you and nick to your creepy bromance"
I said getting up and giving autumn a signal to follow me
"He's cute" I said walking away from the table to autumn
"Hey watch it, you have carl"
"Pfft" I chuckled "I know"
============================
*time skip to later that night after everyone is starting to head off to bed*
I walked into Carl's room and saw him laying down
"You asleep?" I said quietly
"No" he said sitting up and motioned me to sit next to him
"What's up" he said
"I have a question"
"Shoot"
"Do you think you could set nick up with autumn?"
"I don't know, why?"
"It's just that she really likes him and I feel bad because they would look so cute together. Plus he doesn't really talk much but autumn thinks it's just because he doesn't like her"
"I could try"
"Thank youu" I said and kissed him
"Anyways goodnight carl" I said and kissed him once more
"Goodnight baby girl"
