CHAPTER 4; Love or Friendship?

i woke up
and i'm not in my classroom or even with Jacob
i'm in the janitors closet
the janitors closet only opens from the outside so i'm stuck here
no one have came and looked for me

MCKENZIE'S POV:
nag ring na yung bell and we're already in our seats
but i don't see Nad anywhere
so i sat besides Jacob in Nad's empty seat
"where's nad?" tinanong ko si Jacob
Jacob gave me a anxious look
and he looked over at Chanel
"someone took her, i asked Chanel where she's at pero ayaw niyang sabihin, Kenzie tinatago ni Chanel si Nad" agad gumuho ang mundo ko pagka sabi ni Jacob sakin agad naman akong napa punta sa row ni Chanel
and i
Slapped her
"asaan si Nad?!" sabi ko na galit na galit
naka tingin lang saakin si Chanel while grinning oh god i so wanna punch her face but Josh stopped me
"don't make me do what i did Chanel, ASAAN SI NAD???" sabi kong galit na galit kay Chanel
and then i heard her snicker
"oh why would i know? probably the janitors closet?" and she laughed
me, Josh, and Jacob went running to the janitors closet
and saw her there
crying, looking so broken
after i saw her like that
Jacob went in and hugged her immediately
"did you tell a teacher, Jacob?" tinanong ko habang naka tingin sakanila
"im sorry, but no hinanap ko si Nad, until the bell rang and i went to class, i was gonna tell Ms.Comediero" he said explaining it to me
i immediately ran to the principals office and the faculty where i saw Ms.Comediero on her way to our classroom
the principal and our adviser immediately punished Chanel for what she did
she was suspended for 2 weeks

NADINE'S POV:
"i... thankyou for looking for me" i said with a sad voice
"akala ko kinalimutan nyo na ako, but i was wrong thankyou for saving me kasi kung hindi niyo pako hinanap baka nahimatay nako sa baho ng janitors closet" at lahat naman kami nag tawanan

lunch break na nga at magkakasama kami nila Kenzie, Josh, at Jacob
pinag uusapan namin kaganina yung nangyari saakin
hanggang tinawag yung pangalan ko papunta principals office
napatahimik kami at agad naman akong pumunta
pag dating ko doon nakita ko ang parents ko kasama ang parents ni Chanel at andodoon si Chanel naka upo sa tabi ng mom niya
"please sit down, Nadine" ang sabi ng principal at agad naman akong umupo sa tabi ng dad ko
"so what really happened, Nadine tell us don't be scared para ma actionan natin agad ang ginawa sayo ni Chanel"
napatahimik ako
nang sabi ko sa sarili ko
*i have to tell them, reputasyon ko din ito*
sinabi ko sakanila ang lahat, simula sa cafeteria yesterday hanggang ang pangyayari ngayon
the look on Chanel's parents had fuming with anger
"i am so disappointed at you Ms.Chanel i would ask Ms.Nadine the president of the student council to escort you out of the council, i'm very sorry i know your disappointed but your actions might affect our school, and i will give you 2weeks of suspension"
i know that Chanel's about to cry but she stayed strong
"we are very sorry ma'am, and especially Nadine, were sorry" chanel's parents have told me
i gave them a quick nod and smiled
"dismissed" the principal said,
Chanel's parents thanked the principal and also mine
we parted our ways
"are you okay, sweetheart?" my mom gently asked me while on our way to our car, mom asked the principal if i could go home and get rest
at pumayag na din yung principal
"i'm okay" ang sabi ko naman
"you know anak fighting for love is totally reasonable but what would you really choose,
love or friendship?"
my mom asked while were on our way home
i didn't get a chance to answer
i started to think
thinking, about our friendship
thinking, about love
thinking, about everything
but what would i really choose?
