CHAPTER THREE

FLASHBACK

Griffin couldn't believe it! He had actually got accepted to his dream college; he almost cried when he got the email! He needed to tell Vance! He just knew Vance would be so proud of him! After all, Vance was the only reason why Griffin decided to even send in his resume to his dream college. Although, something weird had happened when Griffin called Vance. He went straight to voicemail. Vance couldn't have been busy. He didn't tell Griffin that he was going to be busy. Maybe he just forgot? "Y'know what, I bet he's just asleep." Griffin thought, so Griffin went to Vance's room. He didn't feel the need to knock on the door since Vance would be in bed sleeping. Griffin opened Vance's door and turned on his light. Although, Vance wasn't in his bed sleeping like Griffin thought he was. "That's weird... Where could he be?" Griffin mumbled, he turned off the light and closed the door to Vance's door. "Did he forget to tell me he was going out? No, Vance doesn't forget things like that. He always tells me where he is going just so I know in case something happens to him. So where the fuck could he possibly be?" Griffin said out loud. Now looking around their apartment to see if Vance was anywhere to be seen. Unfortunately, Vance was nowhere to be seen in the apartment. "This is so fucking stupid. I'll just text him." Griffin thought, grabbing his phone out of his back pocket and unlocking it. He went on Vance's contact and messaged him only to see that his message didn't go through. "What the fuck?" Griffin mumbled, "He's doing another one of his stupid fucking pranks, isn't it? I'll just message him on something else." Griffin said, but he had no luck. Vance had blocked him on every single thing. Griffin started to get irritated at this so he decided to look at Vance's location and see where he was so he could confront him. "This fucking bastard stopped sharing his location with me." Griffin said, now fully frustrated with Vance's actions.

Vance had left Griffin.

Griffin couldn't believe it.

Vance had cut off all communications they had together but what was the reason for this?

The more Griffin tried to think about it; it just made him sadder. Griffin went over to their couch, well he should probably say his couch now. He sat down on the couch and the moment he did; he bursted out in tears. "V-Vance left me. That fucking bastard!" Griffin mumbled, yelling at the end of his sentence.

Griffin cried his eyes out that night; not getting a single minute of sleep that night. He was just glad his college classes didn't start until next week. Griffin got up from the couch and went to the bathroom to wash his face. Once he finished washing his face he looked up at his mirror and saw how much of a mess he was. "This is so pathetic." Griffin thought, "Why the fuck did Vance even block me? Did I do something to piss him off?" he said, now saying all his thoughts out loud. "What the hell? Why did I say my thoughts out loud? Actually, that doesn't matter." The more Griffin thought why Vance blocked him; the tighter he held the counter. "He had no reason to..." Griffin mumbled, "THAT FUCKING BASTARD HAD NO REASON TO FUCKING BLOCK ME!" Griffin shouted, now realizing that Vance had no real reason to block him. Vance had no reason to cut off all communication with Griffin.

This made Griffin furious.

Griffin grabbed the closest thing he had and threw it at the mirror. Unfortunately, for him some shards of glass went right to him and cut his neck. Once again, unfortunately, the shards of glass got stuck in his neck. "Shit, shit, shit!" Griffin thought. "What the fuck do I do? Do I go to the hospital? No, Vance said- Goddamn it! Don't think about Vance right now!" Griffin opened some of the drawers and started to move stuff around. As Griffin searched through his drawers but as he was searching he saw that blood was dripping onto his hand and into the drawer. This didn't stop Griffin though; he kept on searching and searching until he found some tweezers. "This should work." He thought.
