My journey through life

I remember some parts of my childhood, you know how forgetful that phase can be except there are really key memories that stuck and will never leave .

I remember one time that I poured sugar into my rice and stew that was given to me as my lunch, I actually thought it was going to make the food even more delicious but it turned out very bad and I had to secretly put it away because wasting food in my home wasn't a welcomed idea.

I would not say that I particularly enjoyed going to school as a child especially the learning part but I enjoyed the part of talking ceaselessly  and playing with my friends, especially my best friend then ( we seldomly say hello here and there now). Myself and my then best friend would even exchange lunch because we felt the other persons meals would taste better🤣🤣...I also enjoyed the local play called SUWE, where we have to draw some lines on the sandy ground and take turns in dumping around it on one foot ( this is not a vivid explanation of SUWA). I loved to play suwe a lot asides other kiddies outdoor play...

As a Child I drank (ate) a lot of garri (cassava flakes), my mom didn't like it and she scolded me every time she saw me drinking my lovely garri that has been baptized in sugar and salt ( I used to add sugar and salt to my garri)...I don't know how I came across the idea of taking garri with sugar and salt but I sure loved it (I can't try it again as an adult because it's not sweet at all).

I also remember intentionally swallowing a screw nail I found by my window. I took the screw nail, got some water and pretended like it was a pill like I had seen people swallow in movies in order to end their lives ...so my little head thinking was that if I swallowed the nail, I was going to die like I usually see in movies (maybe I thought death was something temporary🤣). You know as a child it just looked funny how these actors would swallow some bunch of pills, fall and die...my aim was to practice what I saw..I actually swallowed the screw nail and I slept off...

You want to know how the screw small n can't ail got removed...That would be in part two..it's not so easy to type but I love to share stories ...and please remember censor what your kids watch, kids practice what they see.

See you in part two soon.
