She was someone who could see the future of others. She was a seer. A power that, for others, could be heard as a blessing but for her it was a curse. A never ending painful reminder.
He was someone with a hollow void in his eyes. He was someone whose fate was already written and sealed. A future of suffering, of pain, of angst.
She could see people's futures just by staring at their eyes for a bit but she wasn't able to change the future until a incident occured. So for Ayuki Saito her power was painful and nerve wrecking.
He valued family and friendship the most in his life. It was like his family and his friends were his most prized possession. He would always put them, their priorities before him. He would always do his level best to protect his loved ones. But seems like fate was not by his side. That's why he kept on loosing his precious peoples, he kept on getting away from his loved ones.
It was as if his future was already written from before hand and there was nothing he could do about it. It was as if god was trying his hardest to make him accept his fate. And eventually he did accept it. But she wasn't going to do so.
She never thought she would meet a person who will see multiple futures. In those black, hollow eyes she never thought she would see pain. She never thought she would see him suffer in every future and in every timeline.
She knew she shouldn't change his future as it might bring drastic consequences to him but seeing the void, the emptiness in those eyes something cracked inside of her. It was as if her heart was breaking. She knew she shouldn't have been involve in his life but something made her want to change Sano Manjiro's futures.
He thought he would never be able to recieve happiness and love in his life. But then she entered into his life and changed it. He endured all the sufferings thinking that it was in his fate, but then she gave him such a alternative future that again made him smile brightly.
In every future she saw him suffering and so gave him a alternate ending which unknowingly involved her as well.
