𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐞

[A/n POV]
Ayuki was sitting inside the classroom working on some pending homework when her bestfriend of eight years, Tachibana Hinata enter the room.

That day, nine years ago, Ayuki was able to save her father from the accident. Even though they had been involved in an accident but due to Ayuki's quick thinking the ambulance arrive at the spot right on time causing her father to see another day.

Then when Ayuki turned 10, the long battle her grandmother was fighting with cancer had ended with her taking her last breaths. The Saito family had went to see her for one last time and Nanako had told Ayuki the exact same words, that she had told her a year ago before closing her eyes.

Ayuki smile at her grandmother with tears running down her cheeks and kissed her hand while promising Nanako that she will never give up and will do her best to protect her loved ones from all the dangers.

After that Yuri and Izuma suggested to shift to Shibuya as it was closer to her father's work place and to divert the family's mind from her grandmother's death.

As they were about to enter into their new apartment, their neighbouring family, Tachibana, introduced themselves to the Saito and that's how for the first time Ayuki meet the two Tachibana siblings, Hinata and Naoto.

Back to the present, Hinata sat down at her desk which was right beside Ayuki's and when saw her finishing the pending work, started scolding the girl.

Hinata - Seriously, at one side there is you who doesn't completes her work on time and on other side, there is Takemichi who always gets into fight.

Ayuki nodded, with a sad expression plaster on her face and in a mocking way said to Hinata

Ayuki - How tiresome to babysit two persons right Hina. *Chuckles softly*

Hinata - Ayu! But no really, for a few days now Takemichi is coming with more bruises on his face. I am really worried about him you know, god knows what kind of people he hang out with nowadays.

Hinata ranted about her worry to Ayuki. The said girl trying to calm her bestfriend while assuring her that Takemichi is going to be alright. Ayuki's mother was colleagues with Takemichi's mother and so it didn't took long for the two kids to become friends as well.

She bas been friends with him and his small gang for a while now and knew how awesome the boy is. So it wasn't a suprise to her when she heard that both of her friends have caught feelings for eachother, infact she was the one who got them to confess their love for eachother.

She has known about Takemichi's dream of becoming the top delinquent of Japan and has always supported him on that, so hearing that the boy was getting into fights was nothing new for her. But she did made a mental note on talking to him later on about being more careful.

After chatting with Hinata for a few more minutes, Ayuki got up from her seat and went out of the classroom, towards the washroom. As she was walking she came face to face with Takemichi's gang, the Mizo Middle Crew.
