Travis was freed from captivity. Aphmau had taken Lucinda off to deal with the alliance and its possibilities. Before we knew it though Lucinda and I were teleporting the house. Lucinda had done this a few times now, but not many. Once we had arrived, Dante asked us to go to the gate about a witch...

"A witch problem? Take me to her and I'll eradicate her if she's causing problems," Lucinda said.

"She's actually not. She's requesting to see Aphmau and Y/n," Dante hollered across the river.

We went to the gate to find Hyria alongside many of her golems. I saw Vylad run off from her side as we approached. Lucinda ran up to Hyria, staff first, before running off. Aphmau followed behind her, trying to calm her down. I knew of how terrible their relationship was...

"Suppose time doesn't heal ALL wounds," Hyria said.

I helped Hyria up off the ground. Hyria answered all of Aphmau's questions in... more indirect ways.

"I'd like to rest within the trees," Hyria said.

"Let me see you there," I said.

"Alright then," she replied.

We walked off into the forest and she conjured up a camp.

"So you told him," she questioned.

"I did. Though, you would know. Seems as though someone's been watching me," I said.

"A bit. Though I had to turn it off at one point for Vylad's sake," she said.

"What?" I questioned.

"You should practice your magicks. Perhaps if you honed them and used them at their original strength, you wouldn't have to fear my spying," she explained. "I'm too tired now though. You should go check on everyone."

I nodded, knowing that Hyria would probably fall asleep in front of me before continuing to answer questions. I made my way back into town to find Hyria searching through Travis's tomb. I had heard Lucinda and Aphmau speaking about it. Now Hyria was suggesting that Aphmau follow it. Hyria ran off and Aphmau and I both followed. She led to the Irene Portal.

"Why can't you just tell me where the map leads to?" Aph questioned.

"There are things people need to take slowly. You and your sister especially. Ask her, she knows," Hyria suggested.

Aph looked at me confused, "What is she talking about?"

I stayed quiet and Aph looked back towards Hyria.

"Why are you even here?"

"I told you the fates brought me," Hyria answered.

"No. Not why are you here in Pheonix Drop. I mean, why are you here at this portal?" Aph questioned.

It was likely she could open it. She helped to create it after all... Hyria looked back towards the portal.

"Because I know where it leads," Hyria answered.

"Can you open it?" Aph questioned.

"Hyria, please I know- If you can. Please help," I begged alongside Aph.

"I cannot," Hyria said sorrowfully.

"Don't toy around with my emotions like this. I don't want to play around. This portal I care for inside," Aph teared up.

"And some people I care for stand before me," Hyria responded. "Aphmau. You need to take things slowly. Trust me. You will find out how to open this portal yourself if you persevere. Follow that map, you'll learn more with time. Y/n can tell you in her own way of what it takes to understand things better. Lady Irene herself, did not win a war within a day."

Hyria started off into the forest once again.

"Hyria!" Aph shouted. "You won't let the people who invaded O'khasis cross the forest, will you?"

"Not if I can help it. I promised her... and so I do for you," Hyria said, wandering off into the forest.

"So, what are you going to do now?" Travis asked.

"I need to speak to Levin and Malachi. We are going to be leaving," Aph explained.

"To the island? The one in my tomb? You know I can only make out half the writing on that page..." Travis explained. "even I can't decipher what it says..."

Perhaps.... No... Could it have been?

"We need to try and get there if there are answers and it's a strong lead. Then I'll do whatever it takes," Aph said, staring up at the portal. "Let's go talk to Levin and Malachi. There are matter I need to discuss with them tonight before leaving this place."

"Right."

Aphmau started off, but I held Travis back by the arm.

"Let me see the tomb," I said.

"But you know it won't-" Travis said.

"Let me see it," I said, my voice cracking.

I opened the book, to Travis's surprise. Inside was the map. It was the island I remembered. The one the Divine Warriors spent much time on... Whether it had been for meetings, or a day off, or training... This was the island. In the notes... They looked different to the kind Enki and I had written. The language was still legible though... It had to have been one the Divine Warriors used to communicate. This was named Irene's Island. This held ruins and secrets of our lives... There were warnings that mentioned it was only accessible through us... It was hidden from the rest of the world in some way...

I could feel in my gut this is where she would remember everything. My eyes swelled up and my throat felt coarse.

"Travis!?" Aph yelled.

I handed the tomb to Travis, "Go... I need some time to think..."

I could tell he resisted for a moment, but with another call from Aph... He was gone. I was knelt down before the portal... She was going to remember. She was going to hate me. This was it. I balled my eyes out, screaming out as I curled over myself. It was a moment like this where the idea of "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" began. Because I was alone. And I felt it. I felt what I only could have imagined was the same pain I felt when I was banished.

"Y/n! Y/n!" Vylad said as he knelt down beside me.

He brushed the hair out of my face. To show probably some sort of horor. I continued on sobbing. Vylad pulled me into his arms.

"Shushh... I'm sure Laurance may be able to hear you if you continue like that. I know you may want to be alone right now, but if you continue like this, everyone will eventually come running," Vylad said.

I quieted down a bit. Vylad continued brushing his hands through my hair.

"Do you want me to leave?" he asked.

I didn't. He was one of the few I did not feel as though I could truly lose. He was too loyal to my side. I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I'll take that as a no," Vylad said. "Did you see something you wish you didn't?"

I nodded, "Th-The tomb. The m-map... The island... It's... It's going to ruin e-e-everyth-thing."

We sat there for an embarrassingly long time. When Vylad convinced me to get up he looked in my eyes shocked.

"Is it that bad?" I asked.

He raised his thumb to my cheeks, wiping away the tears. "No...."

I chuckled, "You're a terrible liar."

"There we go," he smiled.

I smiled, knowing he was happy I smiled.
