𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐘𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐘𝐌𝐀𝐍 begins on the planet of Kratos, whose history runs rich with poisonous whispers and tales of mythical creatures. Kratonian elders and villagers traverse the planet's jungles, far from the watch of the ruling house, the Kallistars, to seek these mythical creatures and put an end to the grasp they had on their people.
The jungles of Kratos were covered under a thick, suffocating shroud of darkness that went on for ages, daring only the most adventurous to get lost in their acres. Sinister clouds of mist slithered between ancient trees, concealing the secrets of the mythical creatures that gnarled within their embrace. Leaves waved with malicious intent, pulling children into the darkness before their vicious vines entangled them into a cocoon.
Day by day, children were taken from the villages, leaving heartbroken families in their wake. The people of Kratos believed the children were fed to a creature called the Boogeyman, who thrived off of the blood of children. Nothing could catch the beast, not even the strongest warriors that were sent to hunt the monster, only to return empty-handed. The fate of the Kratonian people was in shambles as the Boogeyman threatened to end every bloodline in its path to destruction, that is until the Jedi were asked to intervene.
Obi-Wan Kenobi did not understand why Master Qui-Gon Jinn and the Jedi council decided to answer the Kratonian people's plea for help. The young padawan believed the Boogeyman was a myth, a mere fragmentation the citizens created to cover their neglect for their children. If Obi-Wan was to complete his training and take the Trials of Knighthood, he should be going on missions of use, not adding fuel to the flame of some fictional creature.
