Luna was laying on her bed thinking more about what happened today. She hoped she might the right decision as she had trusted her dad her entire life. Her tv was on the news but she paid no attention to it. As she turned away she fell asleep. Missing that the major information was that there would have been a bridge collapse on one of the major bridges that weren't up to code. Superman and his new sidekick Superboy saved the day.

When Luna got to school the next day everyone was talking about Superboy. Girls that have associated themselves with her. One said, "Have you heard about the new hero in town? They call him Superboy." One person mentioned that Superboy's super strength is unparalleled, capable of easily lifting cars and even stopping a speeding train. Another mentioned his lightning-fast speed, saving lives with split-second rescues. And let's not forget about his extraordinary ability to fly, soaring through the skies with grace and precision. Everyone seems to be in awe of Superboy's unwavering determination and unwavering devotion to justice. "It's safe to say that this new hero has become a true symbol of hope in our city." another said. Luna stayed quiet just going over what her father had told her.

As the day went on the topic wasn't about school or any upcoming events, it was all about Superboy. During their last class, her friends sat in front of her their voices filled the air with excitement and admiration, discussing his every heroic feat in great detail. The first girl gushed about his incredible strength, while the second marveled at his lightning-fast speed. The third girl couldn't contain her enthusiasm, raving about his ability to fly through the skies. With each passing remark, Luna's annoyance grew. She couldn't help but wonder why these girls were so obsessed with Superboy. Couldn't they find something else to talk about? It seemed as though Superboy had become the center of their universe, overshadowing any other topic of conversation. Luna couldn't help but wish for a moment of peace, away from the constant chatter about this superhero. It seemed Luna's wish would come true as someone from the office had called the teacher. "Ok, I'll get her." The teacher said as they put the phone down. "Ms.Luthor the front office needs you real quick, Why don't you go ahead and bring your stuff with you in case class ends before you leave," they said to Luna. Luna got her stuff and made her way to the office wondering what they needed. As she got in there the woman in the front smiled at Luna, "Honey your needed in the principal's office, just go right to the left and to the very back." She told Luna. Luna gave a small thank you before walking in and sitting down. "Luna you're dad has informed me that for the next four weeks, you'll need to be with him as he has some business around the world. Now normally I wouldn't allow students to go off for this long but with the position that you're father has and the deal we made. If you can get that amount of schoolwork done by the beginning of next week you will be allowed to take off." He said, the bell rang as a signal to end the meeting. "I will get back to you if my father doesn't, thank you," Luna said with a bow of respect before leaving the office and on her way out of the school.

Seated in his grand office, Lex beckoned her closer, a warm smile gracing his face. With a gentle tone, he began to speak. "I know the principal finally talked to you today," Lune got comfortable in one of his seats. "Yes, this piques my curiosity as the work I was given could get done in a day. I wouldn't question it but I found it suspicious that the work they have given me is something I could have done at 2." Luna said. "Well, my dear you are needed. It's time to put some of our plans into action." Lex said. Luna was shocked that what her father wanted to do to save the world came so fast. I mean she just accepted his offer last night at the dinner table. "You seemed shocked Luna, see this is something that was going to happen. I've been working on it for a very long time, I thought you knew." Lex told his daughter. "Just caught off guard, with how this world works I thought it would take months for us to start saving this world," Luna said. "Well, I have some undercover scientists working at S.T.A.R. Labs, they have weapons that can destroy this very planet," Lex told Luna with a very serious face. "Oh my god, and this is the same lab that heroes go to. The one they tell people not to worry about?!" Luna exclaimed with shock. "I know dear daughter, we must take what they're working on as otherwise they'll be used and this world will cease to exist," Lex said convincing his daughter. Luna sat there in silence for a second, she let it sink in for a second before standing in determination "What must I do?" she asked her dad. Lex smirked before getting up and standing next to her. "We must destroy the machines as well as their blueprints. It must be someone they least suspect." Lex explained to his daughter. "Alright, I'll do whatever I need to do in order to save the world," Luna said. Lex gave a big chuckle before gently hugging his daughter. "I have some people that will be helping us, in the meantime, there's a suit waiting for you. I want you to finish all your work and start training with it." Lex told his daughter. Luna smiled at him, "I will, you won't be disappointed." she said. "I know you won't, I'll meet you at home for dinner in a couple of hours, I suggest you get a headstart," Lex told his daughter. "I will!" Luna said before immediately running out of his office and down towards the limo outside. Lex chuckled before sitting down with a smirk, Luna had no idea what she had gotten herself into.
