They let themselves engulf in each other's warmth. Kissing each other like their life depends on it. Lan Wangji's hand roam her back and she kisses his neck while Lan Wangji sucks on her shoulder let the strap of her bralette fall. His hands reach the hook of it and he is about to undone it when suddenly Wei Ying pushes him. She leaves his neck and looks at him wide eyed with shock on her face. He too gets back to his senses by this sudden reaction. She immediately scrambles away from him, getting up from the bathtub and turning back. She wears her bathrobe and doesn't look at him, standing away her back facing him. 

He too comes out of the tub and extends his hand to talk to her but can not do so. He leaves the bathroom, going outside he changes his clothes and leaves. 

Wei Ying hears the door open and then close. She sighs and comes out of bathroom to wear her clothes too. The images of their makeout playing on a loop inside her mind. She was planning to lash out on him and here she is, making out with him. She laughs at the situation, the questions went into gutter just because she suddenly get.......well horny and almost had sex with the man she claims to hate. Is it okay to lust after a man who you hate? She sighs again. She knows she hate him but his presence weakens her resolve and his touches just let all rationality fly out of her mind. Why is it? She herself doesn't understand the emotion. She wants to go away from him but at the same time she doesn't want to. 

She goes down into her office and thinks about asking him everything. But then a thought came inside her mind. What will she ask him? Why he was with Mo Xuanyu? But will it not prove what's there inside her? And she imagines him looking smug at her obvious situation. That he gets successful in trapping her in his love again. Will she not make a fool out of herself asking that? No, noone can hurt her. Even if she's hurt she'll not give him the satisfaction of showing it. Once, her son comes of age she'll just get separated from Lan Wangji. Till then she'll maintain her distance, not falling for him again. She'll not give in before her stupid heart. She has long blocked all those emotions, all that love. She'll not let it resurface or she knows she'll get destroyed.

It's time to get Yuan and she informs Lan Wangji and picks Yuan up from school and comes home. She feels tired and doesn't want to work anymore. She wants rest. After taking lunch, she lets Yuan sleep for sometime and ends up taking a short nap beside him too.

When they wake up, she help him doing his homework and then they feed rabbit. After that Yuan asks Wei Ying to watch a movie with him but she denies.

"But Mama you said that we will watch movie soon. Please, let's watch a movie. " He whines.

Sighing, she gives in "okay, let's go."

And he chirps" thank you Mama. Which movie will we watch?"

"Whatever you like Baobei." She smiles at him and settles on couch while Yuan just scroll down which movie to watch.

She doesn't even know when Yuan plays The Nun and after playing the movie he says "Mama, where are you lost? Let's watch the movie."

 Wei Ying nods and they start watching the movie. At every horror scene Wei Ying and Yuan both covers their eyes or let's out a shout.

"Why did you have to play a horror movie? Huh. Are you planning to kill Mama?" She asks pouting and before Yuan can answer the demon nun appears suddenly and they both screams again.
