Sorry for the long wait! To make up for it I wrote a chapter TWICE as long then the last, I finally broke free from the writers block I've been experiencing, Feel free to point out any spelling or grammar mistakes so i can fix them (There might be A LOT since I'm running off of 4 hours of sleep) and I PROMISE to drop another chapter soon

Tenn POV:

The morning sun slowly rose above the horizon, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange. I stirred awake, feeling the grass beneath me and aches all over my body. Despite the discomfort, I managed to open my eyes, squinting against the bright light that filtered through the tall trees above.

"Ughh.. everything hurts.." I groaned to myself

my body taken was taking its toll from yesterday. Everything ached, my head felt fuzzy, I still had cuts and bruises from the crash, the cut on my forearm seemed to get swollen, and worst of all it seemed like we hadn't made much progress in finding out where the hell we are!  I groaned softly as I rolled to my side, trying to get a better view of my surroundings.

On the other hand, I saw Mariana was already up and full of energy walking around the campfire. I watched her continue to pace around our campsite like she was lost in thought for a moment before she noticed me awake. Her face lit up with a warm smile, and I couldn't help but feel a little more energized by her cheerful presence.

"Morning Tenn! Good morning! How did you sleep?" Mariana asked,

"Not the most comfortable night, but I guess it could've been worse," I replied, trying to shake off the grogginess and brush off the dirt off my clothes.

"How about you?" I asked while getting to my feet

"I slept okay, thanks for asking," she said, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

Her Friendly demeanor disappeared and was replaced with a stern face, I grew worried about what was to come next.

"Are you ready to head out? We should get moving now." She urged with a serious tone

"Nah, Not yet. Just give me a second to fully wake up, Ok?" I replied in a groggy voice while wiping my eyes

"*Sigh* Fine, Just hurry up... I just don't wanna be caught with our guard down. y'know?" she said

"Yeah, whatever.."

All she gave me was a single nod before turning around and continuing to pace around,

As I got to my feet and got another glance around my surroundings. Everything looked familiar from the night before, except now everything is now visible in the sunlight. However, I noticed how sore my legs were as I stood up... Probably from all of the running from yesterday. Dammit... To get rid of this I decided to do some basic stretching exercises that I learned from my afterschool sports to loosen up. After a few minutes of stretching, I felt a bit more limber and ready for the day ahead. As I finished, Mariana walked back up to me.

"Feeling ok now?" She asked

"Yeah, Now that I'm fully awake I feel about ready to move now"

" Same here, I feel about ready to get moving too.. by the way, how are our rations holding up?" she asked while eyeing my bag

I paused for a moment, I looked over and picked up my bag from the grass, and looked inside at our supplies.

"Well, we've got a couple of energy bars left and some berries I picked along the trail. There's still a bit of water in our bottles. In other words, we are not doing so well." I answered, Mariana nodded with her brows furrowing slightly.
