the world falling apart... (part one)

December 2014 - January 2015

Taylor couldn't believe what he was hearing...it all felt like a blur to him, like someone dropped a bucket of cold wáter over his head without warning or someone holding his head directly into the wáter and him feeling the air leaving his lungs and him fighting for his dear life...

He was at his parents' house for christmas break and hayley was at her house that she shares with him. she still had her house in LA from when they recorded self-titled but at this point, she had moved back to Nashville after Taylor moved back months prior while in the middle of the tour and she went back in forth between the two cities, and mostly because of him and at this point T had already given up on telling hayley to believe in her enough to get out of her situation that she's been for ages now but this last year has been really tough and with the exposure and success of the album like they've never experience before, it also brought the ugly side of celebrity exposure especially when it comes to hayley and her romantic relantionship more than the past and sometimes more than her life in the band and their success...she has tried really hard to put that aside and make habit to push away those type of interviews and focus on the band without Taylor asking but he was thankful and also because he wanted to protect her from that side of things but it was becoming harder because her partner is obsessed with that aspect since is pretty much he has stayed relevant apart from being her boyfriend; his band hasn't really produced anything and he is jealous of her and our success and that's what been hard to navigate for hayley but also for Taylor and people around her who want to protect her from that but she isn't allowing that and it's becoming frustanting and harder to do, for Taylor more than anyone else...

he was trying his hardest to be present with his family and spending time with his nieces from his two brothers Chris and Justin. but that phone call he received from hayley took him to another head space he wasn't ready for and didn't know what to do...

two hours ago...

he was in the kitchen helping his mom to get dinner ready on christmas day, he hadn't heard from hayley since the day before when they wished each other Merry christmas and they chat on the band group chat but hasn't heard anything else from her and it's weird but he has had a really lovely day being an uncle to get in his head about that fact that he hasn't talked to her in 24 hours which is unheard of

- Michelle (taylor's mom): what's coming for you guys next year?

- Taylor: uhm more touring but we're definitely slowing down this year in comparisson to the last two years and we're mostly playing festivals and smaller places than last year, also we have more Grammy campaign that i don't care about but then the ceremony which neither of us have many expections or wanna attend but who knows, we might know more info after new year when we have a band meeting like every year

- Michelle: well, that sounds busy and i hope you guys make time to take better of yourselves, you guys need the rest; especially you and hayley honey

- Taylor: i'm trying mom, but yeah we need it *taking a deepth breath which his mom being him mom obviously catched*

- Michelle: how is she? i know she moved back here but is definite?

- Taylor: to be honest, i don't know, i know she wants to but it depends of him nowadays, so i don't know; i've been trying my hardest to stay away from that side of her life and be there when she needs to and protect her while we're on tour and he can't be there, it's becoming a little too much...

- Michelle: i am so sorry dear, but at least all of you are there for her and i hope she can see that, truly...and from all of us, she can count on us too, she knows that right?
