bittersweet birthdays... (part two)

November-December 2015

Everything change in a second for Hayley and Taylor and in a millisecond their world got turned upside down and they've never been more hurt in their lives and neither of them know what to act or what to say to each other or to anyone for that matter...the public still doesn't know the reason why they just disappear and stop posting online when they have some shows coming up and parahoy next year but one thing they learn about what they went through 5 years ealier was to make a rush announcement, they decided to deal with this in private until they can actually say the words: "Jeremy has left us and we don't know what we're gonna do right now"

They had just left their lawyers office and they are both defeated and can't say anything because the air left their lungs...they sat on taylor's car since they decided to go eat something before more meetings they had scheduled with their team

Taylor: ugh i can't believe his guts, i truly can't

Hayley: me neither, this time i swear i didn't see any signals about what he was thinking or planned and this went way beyond what we've been through in the past and i can't believe he's gone and he did this to us

Taylor: i know, he was our big brother, how we can keep getting ourselves into these situations? i don't get it

Hayley: i don't know, T. he was there for us through everything but also from afar because he didn't got affected by the same shit than us and he really has the nerves or do this to us when he said multiple times he wasn't a writer and that he wanted to give imput when asked and to his part and he does this? he is asking for money and rights he doesn't have the rights because even tho he was in the band, those songs are ours, mine and yours, T. he had chances to step up and help in the creations but wasn't ever there...

Taylor: and he knew about him not being apart Varoom Whoa (the legal entity that operates the bands business), once we started working the two of us after they left we know we needed protection so we created this and he wasn't gonna step up as a writer so he never signed that deal and now he's saying he was and he has rights to stuff just because? this is breaking my heart because i didn't see this coming from him

Hayley: me neither, and i know i defended him countless times in the past and i never thought he was capable of doing something like this. like yeah, we created that entity to protect us and our work but he was always so in and out and still pretended he did? for what reason? money? i just can't grab my head around all of this, is too much and never thought we'll get into another mess and this is so much worse...he was our brother T. and we also lost Cait, she was our friend too...

Taylor: if we wanted more money or more rights or whatever he should have come to us and tell us not drop this bomb on us and leave us as the villains of the story and to be honest i can't with this H, i don't know what to feel, what to do or how to move on...

Hayley: i feel the same way, i think i might have reached my limit

they stayed silent for the rest of the drive and they talked about some other things even tho they were just in different headspaces. hayley was struggling about the future of her relantionship and upcoming wedding since she was having doubts due to her fiancé antics, behavior and some other stuff but at the same time she's ignoring all the red flags and ignoring her Friends and family's opinions but she won't drop that piece of information or how it's making her feel on Taylor; not with everything else happening. Taylor knows something is up but he has learned with hayley to let her dwell on things and when she's ready she'll tell him what's on her mind, on her terms...as much as he loves his best friend, he can't deal with anything else and especially when it comes to that and the upcoming evento. T has always been protective over hayley and more when he's involved
