Crows just like me.

Giyuu usually disguises as a human (he has a few differences though, like his eyes are too bright and glowy, his hair flows in an unnatural way, he also kinda drinks blood {He has to be around dead bodies. May as well put them to use} so his canines are like a demons) He isn't a demon slayer because he says it's unfair, seeing as how he is stronger than them. His hair flows like he is underwater (Reapers are just dead people in this AU. And he died being drowned by someone)

He is also friends with the master (in this AU, that's why the master has lived that long. He's also where the crows came from {Because crows and Ravens are related to death.})

---------------------

I sighed in awe, looking at the man in front of me. He was 'protecting' me from a demon. From the powerful aura this man gave off, he was probably a Hashira. I examined the man whilst he fought. He didn't look very strong, physically... He looked rather pale. He wore his long black hair loose. He had two different colours in his eyes, teal and gold. This man wore a mask to cover his mouth. He also wore a black and white striped haori. Woah... he was beautiful!

Was he wearing a snake? I looked closer at him, holy sh*t he was! A white snake was curled around his neck, hissing at the demon.

I heard a squawk from the sky, so I looked up to see a crow flapping around, outside the view of the demon. Hm. The crow seemed to be slightly scared. I waved my hand at the crow, and it came over to me.

"Hello, my darling." I whisper to it kindly. "Have no fear. Your time isn't yet." The crow cuddled into my arms obviously thankful of my comfort. The crows all knew who I was.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I heard the demon shrieking, "YOU F*CKING DEMON SLAYER!!!! WHEN I AM REBORN, I WILL KILL YOU!!!"

That demon was an idiot. Being reborn was given to those who wanted another try at life, not those who seek revenge. Revenge is completely pointless. It only takes you down to their level. Let the Karmic force do its thing. You get what you give out. It's obvious!

"Then I shall be waiting for you." The demon slayer said, glaring at the disintegrating demon, the head of which was still cursing at him. Once it was gone, he turned toward around and saw me, and he immediately looked pissed off.

"I. Told. You. To. Run." He said through gritted teeth. He was about to leave when he saw his crow nestled in my arms, looking at him wide-eyed. "What are you doing with Yuan? He doesn't usually like people."

I smiled slightly, "I guess crows just like me..." I pet Yuan's head and whisper, "You must go now, my child." He nods and takes off.

"Goodbye, Lord!" Yuan flew out of view closely followed by that masked slayer.

I chuckled to myself as I walked over to where the demons spirit was. He was stood there staring into the dark forest, shaking. Poor thing... Reflection has its pros and cons...
(Reflection is when they remember their life.)

"Hello, sweetheart. Are you calm now?" I place a hand on his shoulder, turning him around to face me.

"I-I tried so h-hard! But I failed..!" The spirit started to cry. He had been a kind young man from the memories he was seeing. But some demon killed his family, and he felt it was his fault for not protecting them. Then, his life went into a downwards spiral.

"Shhh... It wasn't your fault, dear. It was that pitiful demons fault." I pulled him into a hug and patted his back to calm him. "Would you like to be reunited with them?"

The spirit pushed back from me, looking shocked. His shock soon faded to joy when he realised what I meant. "You can do that?" He asked me, eagerness filling his every atom.

I smiled at him warmly, "Of course I can! I'm the Grim Reaper, for gods sake!" He grinned at me and hugged me again tighter than before.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much!" He put his face in the crook of my neck, sobbing happily. "I love you, man!"

"I love you too." I smile at the warm expression. I hug him for a few moments before I push him back and point at a bird in the tree behind him. "If you follow that Raven, she can help you cross over and see your family again."

"O-Ok!" He looked at the bird, and she flew over to perch on his shoulder. "Wow, you're a big bird! So majestic!" He reached over to pet her, and she allowed him.

"You must follow me to find the light and your family." The Raven then looked at me, "Farewell, my Lord Death." She bowed before she led the man to the other side. Yuuki was a good Raven.

Just then, he heard one of his crows call out to him mentally, "My Lord! Death near me! Human and Demon!" I listened to where he was instructing me to go and started to run over there.

When I arrived, I saw a few dead bodies littering the floor, a demon fighting with a slayer. I reached out to the crow with my mind. Was he here?

Just then, a crow flew down to greet me. "My Lord, I was the one that called you." He looked up at me, "My human over there is a Hashira, so it isn't his soul you are here to collect. It's these poor souls." He indicated the bodies on the floor.

"Thank you for informing me, Sorai." I immediately started to help the souls pass over. "Hello, sweet. If you follow this Raven, Omi, he will help you pass over and see your family once again."

After all of the souls were rounded up and taken by the crows, I turned, getting ready for the demons soul so I could help them cross. Then I noticed the Hashira she was fighting with.

He was a bit taller than me. He had white hair and dark purple eyes. He had scars all over his tanned body. He was wearing a short white haori, and his uniform shirt was wide open, revealing his pecs and abs. Jeez, show off much? Hm. I shouldn't think that. What if he's compensating for something?

"EEEKKKK!!!!" The demon screeched, "I'M SORRY!!" The demon sobbed as she was dying, "IT WAS HIM!! I NEVER WANTED THIS!!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!"

The white-haired slayer looked at her and frowned, "Go f*ck yourself. You disgust me, demon." He turned away from her crying form and walked away. "Come on, Sorai!" He called to his crow.

"Coming! Goodbye, my Lord!" The crow bowed to me and then took flight. He quickly caught up with his human.

I shook my head and walked over to the demons disintegrating body as tears rolled down her cheeks. I picked her head up and smiled at her. She was still a child, 14 to be exact.

"Do...Do you forgive m-me?" She asked hopefully. "Please... Please do forgive me... I never wanted to be-!" She was cut off when I pulled her into a tight embrace.

"I forgive you, my darling child." I whisper into her hair as her physical form melted away to reveal her spirit. "I understand your pain." I patted her head.

"I wanna do it again! Can I have a new life? Please?" She looked up at me and pleaded. "I-I'll do it right this time! I promise!" He could only sense honesty from her. She really wanted to start over.

"I can do that for you, my lovely." I close my eyes and call for a new body to be found. Got one. I pushed her towards her newfound life.

"Goodbye, kind sir!" She waved as she walked towards her new body. Smiling, she grabbed the baby's hand, and they merged together. This was always a calming sight.

One life ended, but a new one started. I smiled to myself and walked around, collecting souls again.

But this time, I was thinking about those two humans. Those two Hashira. I never got their names, I thought, sadly. Oh! The master would know them! I'll ask him in the morning. I have to call the wandering spirits right now. Helping people pass was a difficult job.
