while me and scarlett were driving home i got a text from the one and only phil foden.

"hey scar check that for me?" i asked her

"uh huh" she responded

"uhm it says.. stop seeing him" scarlett said while lowering her voice

i didn't respond because i felt kind of embarrassed and it pissed me off that he told me it was fine earlier.

"no response?" said scarlett

"nah" i said as i was thinking of somewhere else to go

"hey wanna go down to the beach?" i said not wanting to go back to phil

"now?? shit vv it's almost 12 am" she said while laughing thinking i was joking

"i'm serious, stop laughing. i mean i can just drop you home and go by myself, i really don't care." i said annoyed

"shit uh, okay sure, but why?" she questioned

"i dunno i just don't wanna go home right now i guess." i said knowing exactly why i didn't wanna go home

"okay let's go also while we're there let's get someone to take our pictures since i completely forgot to ask ben and mason, yeah?" she asked which i completely forgot about as well but also surprised she forgot because that's always the first thing scarlett ever does when she goes out to anywhere.

"uhhh yeah for sure, ice cream?"  i asked

"i'll never pass down ice cream v" scarlett said while laughing

once we got to the beach we went down to a wooden path and walked past a few stores until we go to the icecream shop.

"hello, what may i get you two?" the cashier asked

"wow i'm glad you guys are still open" scarlett said while letting out a soft giggle

"uhm may we please get vanilla andddd..?" i turned to scarlett so she could say what she wanted

"strawberry." she said while a smile

"on it, that'll be 3 dollars for both."

"got it, and thank you" i said while pulling out 5 dollars cash.

"five?" the cashier questioned

"tip.. right ?" i asked

"ohh yeah, thanks so much" he said giving me a smile

"here ya go" he said while handing us both the ice cream

"thanks!" we both said as we went to go find a spot to sit.

we sat down on the board walk with our feet hanging out to the water as i got a text from someone

- yes of course
- i'll send you the location
