"you'll be okay, promise. just don't say dumb shit, yeah?" i said being serious

"i'll try?" he said with an awkward laugh that followed

"anywhoooo, what are they gonna do?" she asked

"i don't know honestly, ronnie wanted to come over" i said as i shrugged my shoulders

"oh yeah i forget he has a kid sometimes, does he like me?" mason asked

"i don't think he knows you..." scarlett laughed

"hey hey not too much, i don't know we haven't ever brought you up maybe he's seen you on tv." i told mason

"hopefully he likes me." mason said while looking nervous

"what's for dinner" scarlett said as she winked

"oh my god, i didn't go shopping." i said as i forgot i legit had no food at all

"VENUS THE ONE TIME YOU HAVE PEOPLE OVER YOU HAVE NO FOOD??" scarlett screamed

"fuck. i'll just order pizza? does that sound good?" i said looking at mason and scarlett for approval

"pepperoni" scar said with puppy eyes

i laughed and then turned to mason.

"anything" he said with that smile.

"for sure" i said as i grabbed my phone and went upstairs.

after ordering the pizza i called phil to let him know mason was here.

"hey vv" phil said

"sooo basically, masons here..." i said as he cut me off

"why is mason there?"

"i didn't know, i swear. scarlett came back with him" i told my brother and trying to convince him

"so do you not want ronnie to go anymore?"

"no no i want him to come." i told him as i wanted him to know mason before we ended up being anything.

"okay. give me 15." phil said as he hung up before i could say bye.

i just jogged back downstairs

"it'll be here in 30? i forgot." i told scarlett and mason

they both said okay as i sat down on my couch next to mason.

"hey movie?" i asked

"sure, thor?" mason said

"ugh he's so fine" i told mason as he side eyed me

"whattt you can't tell me he's not" i said throwing my hands up

"yeah yeah whatever put it on, scarlett you gonna watch"

"yeah sure let me find something to eat.." scarlett told mason as she placed her hands on her hip

"hurry upppp why are you always eating my food" i laughed

"ugh always judging everyone but herself i swearrr" scarlett joked with mason

"it's startinggg" i told scarlett hoping she'd hurry as i didn't want to be alone with mason for too long

as scarlett rushed over to the couch she sat on the other side of mason. i literally wanted to die.

she knew what she did too.

"hey i'm gonna go use the bathroom scarlett you needa use it???" i told her while giving her a death stare.

"uhm" she said as i cut her off
