It had been about a week, his newfound...guess he could say friends, who were villains, were also a big, chaotic, and dysfunctional family to say the least.
Walking up to the gates of the school, Izuku steadied himself. No doubt Nezu was watching through the cameras like always.
Solidified when he made it to the gate and they immediately opened, Aizawa rushing to him, his usual blankness replaced with fear and concern for his student.
"Problem child!"
"Aizawa-sensei I'm alright."
Said man just checked him over regardless.
Finally, after a while of checking him over for any potential injuries, the man looked at him.
"Jesus kid, everyone was so damn worried, minus one."
Izuku already knew who that was.
"I don't care if All Might doesn't see me as important. Could we go in now?"
Aizawa nodded and brought him to the school's entrance and they entered as the gates closed.
They were immediately greeted in the hall by almost all the other teachers.
"Oh my goodness Midoriya, are you alright?! They didn't hurt you did they?!" Midnight was in mamabear mode.
"I'm okay. They didn't hurt me, which was strange, but I'm okay."
Okay not true, he had just discovered things had not been as they appeared and that the two most wanted villains in Japan and potentially the world were his father and adopted older brother.
It was a lot.
While glad to have his dad back, he was also kind of left in shambles and very angry.
Mainly towards All Might.
"They didn't?" Ectoplasm questioned with some confusion.
Snipe and Vlad seemed a bit sceptical, but their worry over their student superceded their scepticism.
"No. They mostly just questioned me and afterwards they let me go. I'm lost myself, but I didn't care, as long as I got back here that's all that mattered."
He lied, not so much questioned as...starting to get to know them and bonding with them, particularly over trauma and their pasts.
Nezu seemed to be the only one clearly not buying his explanation, even so the chimera didn't want to press into it, figuring it best that Izuku himself tell him when he felt comfortable.
"All that matters is that our student has returned to us safe. Recovery Girl please check him over just to be safe, then he can go to the dorms."
"Dorms?" He asked Nezu.
"We all felt it best to implement a dorm system so the students can stay on campus during the school year. A better way for us to keep an eye on you and ensure the safety of all the students." The principal answered with his usual demeanor.
Okay made sense.
"Your friends have all been worried for you, Ojiro, Mina, Kirishima, Jirou, Tokoyami, Hagakure, and Sero especially so." Vlad added.
Izuku felt kind of guilty about that, but he did not think he could explain things to anyone here yet.
Nezu would likely be the only one to remain calm and rational.
"Okay, I'll be glad to see them again too. Oh, and Thirteen-sensei?"
"She's fine kid, she's just recoverin' now, waiting to come back to work. She was really worried 'bout ya too." Snipe said, his tone softer than usual.
