At the castle everyone was working on battle strategies. General Marcus and Alisia were both working on a battle plan.

"If we want to win this war we have to be one step ahead of the Spirits," said Alisia. "They said they're going to invade in three days, then we will organise our airships and soldiers so we can win this endless war,"

"Excellent, with these plans, we will surely win this war. I'll tell the Commanders and other Generals about these plans now," said General Marcus. "Gentlemen, we commence battle at dawn," announced General Marcus.Everyone in the room cheered and left the room to make the battle plans happen. "Alisia, I have to leave with the other Generals, stay here and I will come back to inform you of what's happening," said General Marcus and he left the room along with the other Generals, leaving Alisia all alone in the big room.

Just then Alisia noticed General Marcus standing outside the room talking to Edward. Then Edward began walking into the room Alisia was in. Alisia pretended to be doing something. Edward was eventually in the same room as Alisia and was standing on the opposite side of the table. Edward coughed a bit to grab Alisia's attention. Alisia looked up quickly.

"Oh, hello Edward," said Alisia faking a surprised reaction. Edward smiled in response. "What was Queen Karina talking to you about just now?" asked Alisia, not making eye contact with Edward.

"He was just telling me about the new battle plans, and also that I am your supervisor," replied Edward.

"What do you mean?" asked Alisia.

"It means that I kind of have to be with you all the time and that I'm responsible for everything that happens to you," explained Edward.

"Oh alright," said Alisia still keeping her head down.

There was a moment of silence. Edward walked around the table to Alisia. Alisia noticed him from the corner of her eye. Edward held her chin and lifted her head to look directly at Edward. Alisia's cheeks burnt a bright scarlet. Alisia stared into Edwards deep oak coloured eyes. Edward leaned closer to Alisia and put his hands around her waist. He moved closer and closer to Alisia until his soft lips were on hers. At first, Alisia was a little shocked, but as his lips were on hers longer she wanted him to stay there. Alisia wrapped her arms around Edward's neck, and Edward pulled Alisia closer to his icy cold body. Edward ran his fingers through Alisia's midnight black hair. Alisia closed her eyes, capturing the moment with Edward. Edward then pulled his lips away from Alisia's.

"I've wanted to tell you this for a while," whispered Edward. Alisia's heart began to race, getting faster and faster with each beat. "I..." began Edward, but he was cut off by the distant sound of a heavy door slamming followed by footsteps. Edward pulled himself away from Alisia, Alisia did the same. The footsteps became louder and louder. Then from around the corner came a guard. He was breathing heavily.

"The Queen wants to see you both," said the guard between breaths.

Alisia and Edward headed towards the throne room where they found Queen Karina talking to David and Crispin who appeared to be rather sweaty and breathless.

"What are you two doing here?" demanded Edward as he and Alisia walked up to the May twins and Queen Karina.

"They claim that the Spirits are on their way to the Main Land in order to invade," said Queen Karina.

"It's true; David and I saw it with our own eyes! Alisia, convince Queen Karina that what we saw was true," said Crispin as he sat on the floor tending to his wound.

Alisia was speechless. She didn't know what to do; her current relationship with David and Crispin was all over the place. She wasn't sure if they were still mad at her for her previous actions. Alisia opened her mouth to say something but no words came out.
