"Ouh a galleon!" Albus, Scorpius, Ruby and I let out a breath that we didn't even realize we were holding. Apparently, it was loud enough for our senior to hear us.

"I heard something." She said, leaning closer to our side.

"Come on, Darcy. You're probably just too tired." A boy said from the far corner of the room. Darcy appeared to be hesitant at first, as if she wouldn't let the thought of an intruder go, but then her expression softened and she just shrugged and sashayed away up to the girls' room.

Everyone went up to their rooms except for the corner boy. He sat on the sofa next to us and picked up an apple.

"I know it's you guys." He said with calm, we didn't move a single muscle, "I know you're in there too, Scorpius."

Scorpius's eyes widened in fear.

"It's alright, I won't tell on you."

I nodded at Scorpius and we took the cloak off.

"Hi....." The four of us said with fake smiles plastered to our faces and the room fell completely silent, except for the crackling of the firewood.

"How'd you know Scorpius was here, Alex?" Ruby was the first to break the silence.

"I know everything." He took a bite off his apple.

"Psshh, sure you do." Albus teased.

"Fine, you guys left his bag there." He pointed to Scorpius's bag at the corner of the room. So that was why Alex was there, "You're lucky no one else saw."

Alex was in his fifth year this year, and so was Darcy. Alex had messy jet-black hair with dark brown eyes that could easily be mistaken as black at this time of night. He wore the same tie and robe like the rest of us, except for Scorpius of course. He rose to his feet and took his robe off, revealing a white shirt and black trousers underneath.

"Huam." He yawned, "I better get to bed, got lots to do tomorrow. Night little ones." He ruffled all of our hairs and chuckled before he left for the boys' room

We stared blankly at each other for a moment, until Albus laughed and then the rest of us joined in. It was late night and we were exhausted. Ruby went to bed before us so Albus and I decided to accompany Scorpius down to the Slytherin 'lair', which was in the dungeon. I grabbed the lit lamp that was above the brick fireplace and Albus grabbed his Invisibility cloak. As you would expect, we all brought our wands and off we went to the dungeon.

It was dark outside, we could tell just by looking out the windows. The moon was glimmering and the sea reflected the dark of the sky. Dim lights came from the distant houses of our caretaker, Mr. Filch and our gamekeeper, Hagrid. The walk down to the dungeon from our tower was rather tiring and scary. It was pitch-black and the only thing we could see was the ground. Albus brought the marauder's map with him so that we could prepare ourselves if a teacher were to find us roaming around the castle at this time of night. Everything went as planned when Scorpius saw Mr. Filch in the marauder's map, walking along the path towards us. We neared ourselves towards the wall, or at least we thought it was a wall, turned the lamp off and buried ourselves under the invisibility cloak.

"Come now, Mrs. Norris." Mr. Filch limped his way round the corner and into our corridor, holding a lamp similar to ours but bigger. Mr. Filch wore a dirty old trench coat with a shirt, tie and vest underneath it. His greasy grey hair descended down from his half-bald head to his shoulders. He wore a contorted facial expression that everyone is rather familiar with and there were keys hanging down his belt loop. The only thing shiny, other than his head of course, was probably his well polished shoes. He stopped, picking up Mrs.Norris with his free arm.
