Beneath the portal

Had this chapter in my drafts for a while I was offline for a week :)

West parked the car,
'Are you sure this is Mongolia's house?' East nodded.
'I forgot the plan...'

East sighed,
'So we first fuse into German Union, and then we undo the fusion once we go to the bathroom, then I got search and you distract the two.'

West suddenly got a notification.

Mongolia: Hey West, can you come over?
W: Yeah! Don't mind that I'm fused though, I will undo it once I'm over at your house.
M: Oh no problem, I'd prefer if we talked without East though.
W: Yeah no Problem.. I can just tell her to stay in the bathroom or something.
M: perfect!

West showed East the chat and knew exactly what to do. East walked over to West and took his hand before the two fused. A small light was seen before the two were fused. They learnt that they can actually control the height a month ago, which they found convenient otherwise they wouldn't even fit through the door.

German Union knocked on the door, Mongolia opening it.
'West-! Sorry I meant German Union. So nice to see you!' Mongolia greeted before lending them inside.

'Thanks Mongolia, should I infuse now?'
'Oh sure.. the bathroom is on the right by the staircase!' Mongolia said, smiling at German Union.
They gave Mongolia an awkward smile back and walked over there and unfused.
'Okay, West, don't panic and don't forget he wanted to talk to you, don't talk or mention anything about me okay?' West took a deep breath and nodded.

East and West left the bathroom swiftly, East immediately rushing up the staircase since she would probably fall off the staircase if she went downstairs in such speed.

West went to Mongolia.
'Oh there you are West! How's my best bud doing?'
'Oh I'm Uhh... doing well! Didn't you want to talk about something with me?'
'Oh yes!' Mongolia said, thinking on how he will start. North Korea sat next to the two on the sofa, passing Germany some drink he couldn't recognise, maybe something new, like some mix.

'So we might need your help. Can you help Taiwan.. convince her to help us with something?'

'Which is?'

'Getting her to tell to form an alliance?'

'Are you insane? I'm not helping with that, in fact I'm glad she refused to agree.'

'Listen. But this will benefit us, it's like it seems.' Mongolia began to explain...

East rummaged through Mongolia's stuff in his room, before finding a mini notebook filled with notes and poor handwriting. She stuffed it in her pocket before looking further.

She snuck to the basement, looking through every room, finding nothing.
East was on the way up when suddenly knocking was heard down the hall, maybe it was just from outside, but she decided to ignore it.

'No! Don't leave!' A voice was heard, it was quiet and almost unable to understand what the voice said. East decided to check it out and hoped West can wait a bit longer.

East rushed to the back tried to open the door, but it was completely stuck. The handle was damaged and couldn't move.
East activated her magic and glided her hand over it, trying to melt the lock she had in it, eventually only partially melting it before she tugged on the handle.

After a couple attempts the door opening and Taiwan looked at East.

'East?'
'Taiwan?'

'East what are you doing here?' Taiwan asked, East looked at Taiwan, noticing the scarring all over her hands.
'Dude what happened to you... come on we have to get out of here!'
