As planned the fire alarms started alarming and everyone started leaving the place. I pretended to leave with them and hide somewhere outside so, no one would notice me. As soon as everyone left I stepped inside the mansion and saw davis and Marco on their knees. Hands tied behind and some drops of blood was flowing from Davis's forehead and Marco was trembling in fear.

I took my gun out and started loading it "Ace! What happen? Why are yo--" I fired the bullet near his knee and he jumped in fear. "I trusted both of you but what did I got in return? Betrayal [shot]. I shot on his right arm. He screamed in pain and looked at me with hatred in his eyes. I smirked and sat on my toes in front of him.

"I pity you. If you would have been loyal towards me......but now we can't change anything" I said the last line standing up and turning around. "You can't kill me!! You depend on me for--" I didn't let him complete his sentence and shot straight on his forehead.

He fell down on the floor and a pool of blood started leaving its marks on white marble floor. Marco's eyes were wide with fear. His breathing got heavier. He looks at me "so...sor.....sorry...Ace!! Please!! For...give....forgive me!! I--" [Shot]. I don't give a second chance to someone who breaks my trust.

"Burn this place" I ordered Arthur and walked out.

The news reporter brags about what happened last night. I listen to the news merely paying attention then my phone buzzes. I looked at the caller ID and smiled. I answered the call but before I could say anything "are you okay?" Her melodious voice rang in my ear and my smile became wider.

"Are you listening? You okay, right?" She asked again and I am enjoying her worried tone.

Watch you are smiling like a mad person in love. A voice in my head warns me. My smile dropped and I cleared my throat. "Yeah. I am okay" I said and my voice was rough and cold. "Thank God! I was worried" she said and I urged to ask her this question "why were you worried?" I asked and she went silent.

"Be......because you....you are my client and if something would have happened to you.......then how would I have got my payment? You didn't even give me advance" I started laughing at her cute lie. I couldn't stop laughing "w....why are you laughing?" She asked.

"Nothing. Meet you later, Ms.singhaniya" I said

"Yeah. Take care" she said and hung up the call.

I flipped my phone around my fingers and laughed again thinking about her lie. "Someone is really happy I guess" I lifted my face to see Arthur taking a seat on the sofa and taking out his burger from the packet he bought. I snatched the packet and took my burger "no! I am not happy" I said and took a bite.

"Hmm" he chuckled and I kicked on his knee.

"Stop laughing" I said but this jerk was still laughing holding his stomach as if I said any joke to him. Such an annoying jerk.

"By the way, that spy is no more alive" he said and I smirked.

My focus was on my laptop's screen, as I am in my office right now. Two knocks on the door and I got distracted "come in" I said and heard click-clack of heels. I looked up and Tara stood in front of me with a smile on her face. I've seen her smiling for the first time. She looks so adorable.

"Hi, are you busy?" She asked and I shooks my head, not able to speak any word. She looks at me as if she was looking for something. I saw some worried expressions on her face and understood, she is looking for any bruise on me.

I opened my mouth to tell her that I am fine but an mischievous idea came in my mind. "Aahh" I pretended to be in pain while I held my left arm with right hand. She walks towards me and puts her feather like hand on my shoulder.

"What happen? Are you okay?" She asked looking at my arm. I wanted to laugh at her adorable cute face but I put on with the act "no! Yesterday when I was running outside with the crowd maybe I got hit and now it's paining" I said squeezing my eyes shut as if I was really in pain.

"But you said you were fine when I called you this morning" she asked and I looked at her "um...I...uh" "Ace, are you lying to me?" She asked, folding her arms. I shook my head "no" she hits on my arm, where I was pretending to be hurt.

"Aaooo" I exclaimed. "I was worried, idiot" she said and sat on the seat in front of me. Idiot? She is calling idiot to mafia boss? She is calling idiot to me?.

Well, she doesn't know that you are a mafia. Yeah, yeah. I know.

I gave her a small smile "what are you doing here Ms.singhaniya" I asked and she stared at me as if I said something wrong. "Wh...how did you knew that there was danger over there? and even if you knew why did you protected me? Plus why didn't you ran away if you knew there was something dangerous?" There it is. Three questions together which's answers I can't give to her.

"You don't have to know" I said and she frown. She still doesn't trust me.

"Whatever. I brought this for you" she said and removed something from her purse. It was a bottle and maybe it's milk inside it. "It's turmeric powder's milk. It's good for health. I thought you might be feeling unwell after.....what happened last night. So, I brought this for you" she said placing the bottle on table and got up to leave.

I took the bottle in my hand and it's hot, means it's fresh and she must have made it by herself because I never heard about this in America. She was half her way "why did you bought this for me? Do you care about me?" I asked and she halted on her steps.

She turns around and gave me a little smile "you don't have to know" she said and walked out from my office. I chuckled and spins the chair on which I am sitting right now. Gosh!! This girl.
