]Chapter 12[

Avalon didn't know what the Egg wanted to do, but she did everything it wanted until.........
I want you to kill Len.
"What...?" Avalon said.
You heard me. Kill Len
"I can't do that!! I..." Avalon looked worriedly around.
No one was around.
She knew Len was busy so he wouldn't be watching her or anyone for that matter.
Oh but you must. He's getting suspicious.
"I won't kill him."
Your children are so weak... It wouldn't take much to kill them.
"Fine, FINE!! But isn't there another way?"
Just get it so he's out of action for awhile. Or I will kill your 'precious' little mortal children.
"Fine... I'll do it..."
Later on, Avalon put a hint of a special herb that she knew would make Len sick into his drinks when no one was looking. She knew that it wouldn't be enough for him to taste it. She could only wait.
Len didn't feel quite right. Something was off and he had a suspicion that something had been in his drink from the slight aftertaste in his mouth.
He felt weak as if his abilities had been pulled from him right then as he stumbled.
Soren noticed. "Len? Len what's - SHIT!!" He yelled as Len collapsed. "Len, wake up!! Wake up Len!!"
Maryanne came in. "Soren? What's the-." She rushed over seeing what was wrong. She realised what had had to have happened.

Len had come to a few hours later. He hated the fact everyone was trying to fuss over him.
"You should be resting Len. Your sick-" Astronella started
"I'm not sick!! Gods do not get sick!!"
"Yep, he's sick." Soren said.
Len glared at him. "I'm NOT sick, thank you very much!!"
Soren suppressed a laugh as he went out.
Meanwhile.....
"I didn't like doing that..."
It was that or your children die.
"I know..."
Besides, you know that I'll keep my word, as long as you keep yours.
Avalon looked away from the window. "I know... I just don't like nor want to do this...."
All you have to do is say one word and all of this can be over.... And your children die in return.
Avalon sighed. "Please.... Don't make this any harder on me than it already is..."
