Sometime during his battle against the Red Ribbon Army, Goku managed to encounter a kind girl named Akeno Himejima, who considered herself an outcast due to her Fallen Angel heritage. Goku, showing no judgement towards her in the slightest, successfully protects Akeno from a group of people that saw her as a monster.
Touched by his kind nature, Akeno attempted to show her gratitude in some way, but unfortunately, Goku had to leave in search for another Dragon Ball before she could even do anything. Nevertheless, the Fallen Angel - Human hybrid would continue to think about him for many years, even when she became contracted as a Devil by Rias Gremory, her future best friend.
Now, seven years later, a 19-year-old Goku is asked by Kami to investigate a school called Kuoh Academy, which has recently been experiencing attacks from Fallen Angels and other supernatural activity thanks to its infamous Occult Research Club. There, he will end up meeting a perverted young boy named Issei Hyoudou and reunite with Akeno, an old friend he has long since forgotten overtime. And, to his surprise, she has become a lot more forward in her feelings towards him than he could ever expect.
Additional Details
- Set in an alternate universe where Dragon Ball and High School DxD's worlds coexist.
- Goku might gain access to a Sacred Gear that either grants him access to Shenron or a more powerful version of the eternal dragon known as Ultimate Shenron (which can be seen in Dragon Ball GT). As a result, Goku will grow much stronger than in canon.
- This will be set directly after the Piccolo Jr. Saga. The only major difference is that Chi-Chi and Goku will no longer be married.
- Although Rias will still be paired with Goku, Akeno will actually serve as the main love interest for this story. Her past connection with him will eventually make Rias jealous, much to her friend's amusement.
