Keefe "Hunkyhair" Sencen
I stumbled aimlessly down the Foxfire hallways, despite being here for years on end I never ceased to get lost.
I looked around to find anything familiar, currently, I was looking for the stupid careers office. My "great" dad decided I needed job counselling to get me motivated to get an "actual" job. Which just meant a job that paid six figures. (same keefe, same)
I gritted my teeth at the thought of him. I then spotted it in my peripheral with big letters printed above the door "CAREER OFFICE"
I pushed open the door to find a secretary who immediately looked my way before clearing her throat.
"What do you want?"
"Uh- Is Ms- um Oralie here?" I tentatively asked.
The secretary huffed clearly annoyed. "She moved offices. I don't know why that stupid engraving is still above the door. This is the office for coming in and out of campus. So unless you are a new student I can't help you."
I srunched my eyebrows. Wow ok. Rude.
"Well... do you happen to know where she moved?" I tried again.
She looked at me again. "Next building over, third floor. Now get out of my sight!"
I turned to the door, feeling the returning resentment of my father but then a bell on the door on the other side of the office jingled.
I turned my head back to see a blonde haired girl walk up to the cranky secretary but I kept walking. The secretary passed her a schedule.
I rolled my eyes. Of course she could help her. I huffed and went off in search for the career counsellor.

As I finally navigated my way through the next building I opened the door to find a lady who looked like she was in her thirties. She had soft ringlets which cascaded down her back, her eyes were strinkingly blue.
"Are you-" I was cut off by the hyper female.
"Miss Oralie? Most definitely!" She bounced. "You must be Keefe Sencen! I can't wait for the both of us to go on this adventure together!"
She was acting as if she just had 10 kilograms of sugar in her tea this morning. After she passed my mental examination I looked around briefly.
I paused before sitting in the chair across the oak table.
"So what's in store for your future?" She practically yelled.
"Oh...um I don't know. That's why I'm here." I monotoned.
"Okay! Not a talkative guy! I see! Well, we'll just have to find out your passion! Any hobbies?"
"uh- okay painting, um i like writing creatively i guess?" I sounded unsure.
"Perfect! So are you pursuing a career creatively?" She tilted her head to the side.
"Uh. Not exactly, my dad was kind of hoping I'd go into law. Or medicine."
"Isn't this about you?" She said.
I laughed. "No not really."
She pulled her lips tight. "If you say so."
Soon, the time passed and it was time for me to leave after a long hour.
"Thanks." I said deadpan and picked up my phone from the desk.
"Wait." She inspected my cover of my phone. "Whose that?"
I looked to see my mother on the cover of my phone her arms wrapped around me. I clicked the off button.
