Gwen's pov
I shrieked as I fell down a bit. "MIGUEL!" Miles shouted. MIguel smiled deviously, he had injected me with serum and now I can't use my powers. I'm a powerless woman. "Come on, Miles. The clock is ticking. Just say some simple words, promising to never be spider man again and Gwen can stay safe." Miles sighed and put his hand up. "If it keeps her safe..... then....... if I stop, will you assure that she is safe?" Miguel chuckled. There was consideration in Miles' eyes and I shook my head. "Don't." I let out. He sighed and looked at Miguel. "I'll stop." "Ah, to bad. Ten minutes is up." Miguel said dropping me. I shrieked as I fell 20 stories down, oh my god, I am going to die. I felt a warmness around me. "I got you." He said as I looked up to see Miles holding me, he swung me to a platform and jumped up.
Miles's pov
"Here's my ten minutes." I said punching Miguel out of the gate. I yanked him towards me and punched him, again and again before venom dashing him then whipping him in the face, I yanked him down and jumped over before venom pounding him. We fell through the ceiling and I pushed him down, then beating him. I beat him so hard and so vicious, I blacked out for the slightest second. He looked at me, his face painted with blood, there was so much blood, I couldn't even see him. I looked down at the portal he had created. Peter looked at me and I turned to face him. He grabbed Gwen's shoulder and turned her away. I sighed and saw Miguel coughing up blood. I stood up. "You're twisting the society, Miguel." I said. I walked away and went over to Gwen. She looked at me and I kissed her forehead before standing up. "Miles. I- I lost my powers." I thought for a second. "I know, I know. There's nothing that can be done...I'm sorry Gwen. Hey listen. I got a few buddies at the UAE..... I made them in my time away from everyone. They know about this Spider stuff, maybe even more then we do......." I said. "Who are they?" "Soldiers, a elite task force, not in Brooklyn, New Hampshire..... they helped the Peter in my dimension level up. Maybe your powers aren't lost forever, Gwen." She sighed and hugged me. I smiled and kissed her head. "I got you."
