A visit, some news, and old friends: part 1

The camera slowly looks at a small house fit for a couple in the suberbs

I ring a doorbell

The door opens to my grandpa Martin

Grampa Martin:" Luke how have you been. Pleasr please come in "

Luke:"thanks gramps. Wheres grandma Amelia?" Looking around the living room

Grandpa Martin:" ah, shes in the bedroom decorating"

I nod and head to the bedroom

I head up to the beadroom door and knock

Grandama:"comin"

I open the door to see grandma Amelia postering a very old newspaper

Grandma:" oh Luke deary i didnt see you. Could you help me?"

I help grandma bring out some very old boxing gloves and put it on the top shelf

Grandma:"thank you Lukey please go down for some tea"she start to head down

Luke:"ok i will be there" before i go I look at the antiuqes that she put up

I stare at one of the old newspapers

Yeah if you didnt know my grandma used to be famous underground fighter back in the 1940s to 50s

How do i know this because every now and then she would tell stories about her life, but the most prevlent was her carrer as an underground fighter she considerd it the worst parts of her life idk why she would put up posters about it but hey its not my life. Continuing on

Apparently her carrer as an underground fighter was hell,  surley because at the time men really didnt like the idea of a women fighting other men. Put it simply they were misogynists

At the time when the feminist movement happened most people just brushed it off as a one time thing.  so her being a fighter was really disliked by absolutley everyone it was so bad she could barely make 3 cents, and she would be lucky to even make a dollar well because of that she became infomus for being a woman who fought to survive

Many people cicriticised for not being a normal women in their standards and well she tried getting a normal job but the controversy surronding her became so bad people would'nt accepte her because of that.

Her only source of income was fighting

Yeah it was really bad. It was so bad every turn she wanted to commit suicide but she didnt she still kept holing on, holding on that she may get out of this hell hole.

And well her prayers were answered she met my grandpa in an alleyway getting beaten up by mobsters.

Yeah aint that a way to tell the kids how you met. well i dont know how exactly everything went down but the TLdr eventually they fell in love got married the whole shabang

(I am genuinely curious if you want you see a short story about Amelia and Martins story on how they met and what was Amelias life like)

I hear something that snaps me out of my thoughts

Grandma says downstairs "Luke! The tea is ready including some pie"

Luke:" ok coming!!"

I look back at the stuff then head down

I head down the stairs to be greeted by my garmps for some tea

Gramps: "Luke come sit, have some tea"

Grandma:" and pie" bring out the pie from the oven

Luke:"ahh sorry i cant i have to the gym later"

Gradma frowns a bit

Grandma:"how about i sclice one for ypu and your friend. . Jack was it?"

Luke:"sure that would be nice" drinking my tea"

(Ok this part of the conversation was suppose to be telling the grandparents about school and how Lukes life was doing but my lazy dumbass was tired. I am sorry but i really didnt want to do this part, plus its like 12 in the morning here so it will be a skiped)

Grandparents:" Luke thank you for joining us"

Luke:"your welcome and also i will give this to jack see ya"

Grandparents:" goodbye and thank you"

I start walking back to the school

If this chapter feels rushed its because it is. This chapter was just made to get it over with so i could get to the juicy part of this 3 part chapter and so i could establish tgat Luke actually has a life.

I made this a 3 part so it wouldnt be long as last time, and it wouldnt cost me a milenium and a spiderman trilogy to finish this.
