Chapter-18

AUTHOR'S POV

Hazel made her way inside the classroom and walked straight without sparing a glance at Liam and Sam. She had decided to avoid Liam. He hurt her and she wanted him to realise it.

Liam watched Hazel walking in, she looked uneasy and sweaty. She looked worried too. He thought she'd come and sit next to them as usual, but she didn't even look at them. She sat on the last bench which he didn't like a bit.

She tried to focus on the lessons. For some reason, she felt that everyone was looking at her. She tried to ignore all those eyes as much as possible even though she felt very conscious.

She avoided eye contact with Liam and Sam for the whole day in the class. She also zoned out many times during lectures. Her mind would drift off to that fateful night. As much as she despised it, her body liked his touches. That was the truth, she hated it. But it is what it is.

As the class went by, her mood also lightened. After submitting the assignment, she decided to leave.

As soon as the bell rang, she wasted no time to leave the class. She wanted to submit the assignment and leave.

She made her way to the staff room and submitted the assignment. She was glad, there were no students on that floor. Everyone was looking at her as if she were an alien.

Just as she made her way from the staff room, she saw Sam and Liam standing in the corridor, waiting for her.

" Not now..." she muttered under her breath as soon as her eyes met with Liam who was watching her intently.

She just wanted to run and hide now.

How can I run with this pain???? She felt like crying.

She decided to ignore them and walk away. As rude as it seemed, she had no mood to talk to them right now. She turned aside, walking towards the elevator. She was so thankful for this elevator right now. She pressed the button and stood there waiting for the door to open.

" Haze...." she heard Sam's concerned voice. Hazel took a deep breath and looked at Sam, completely ignoring Liam's presence.

" Why are you ignoring me?" she asked, Hazel sighed.

" I'm..I'm not....it's...just...I'm just tired. Nothing to worry" She didn't look at Sam. She didn't want to lie on her face.

" Hazel....we need to talk. This cannot continue like this....let's go" Sam was desperate to break the ice.

Hazel shook her head,

" I'm sorry Sam...I'm not going anywhere. I need to go home. You take care...bye" Hazel tried to sound convincing.

"At least stay for lunch, please Haze.." Sam was whining.

Hazel didn't like Sam when it came to whining. She wasn't ready to give up. She wants what she wants.

" Sam....I'm not hungry... please...."  she didn't buy Hazel's reason.

She looked like she was about to cry. She peered her eyes at Liam, he looked angry.

" Hazel... What's with this attitude? You seriously need to drop this fucking attitude now!" Liam raised his voice at Hazel, she lost her patience with Liam.

" Are you blaming me??? So I've got an attitude problem now? Seriously? Liam? I wasn't expecting this from you! Fuck you...Liam!!" she spat angrily, walking past them. Her voice shook by the end, she tried so hard not to cry.
